Use of Computer Services This case pertains to determining the approp.pdfamazingkidstoys
Use of Computer Services This case pertains to determining the appropriate use of compuier
time, which is a matter of both aceess by an individual and the availability of quality service to
others. The individual in question has been granted permission to the the computing facilities for
a specific purpose. Many companies have an implicit code of conduct that regulates the
behaviour of individuals who have suthorized access to a computing system. The ethical
considerations involved in this case can provide insight into this unwritten standard. The Case
Dave is employed as a programmer in a large software company, where he is respoasible for
developing and testing utility programs, such as compilers. The company operates two
computing shifts; during the day, program development and enline applieations are run, while at
night, bateh production jobs are completed. Dave has access to workload data, which indicates
that the evening bateh runs are complementary to the daytime programuine tasks, meaning that
additional programming work dering the night shift would not negatively impact the computer's
performance for other users. However, Dave returns after nermal working bours to work on a
personal project, which invelves developing a program to manage his own stock portfolio.
Although his use of the system is minimal, and be consunes very few expendable supplies, sueh
as printer paper, the question arises as to whether his behaviour is ethical. Some of the ethical
principles involved in this case are listed below: - Ownershp of resources. - Effect on others. -
Universalism principle. - Possibility of detection, punishment. Analyse the given case and would
it affect the ethics of the situation if any of the following actions or characteristics were
considered? - Dave initiated a business venture whereby be managed stock portfolios on behalf
of numerous individuals for a fec. - Despite his qualifications, Dave's income was substandard,
implying that he regarded access to the company's computing resourees as a fringe benefit. -
Dave's employer was aware of other employees who were engaged in similar activities and
implicitly sanctioned them by refraining from interveniing. - Since Dave worked for a
government agency instead of a private enterprise, he reasoned that the computer system.

Understanding regional tectonics using beach balls Part I: Remember beach balls and fault types
Figure 1 shows that we can distinguish the different types of faults (normal, reverse and strike-
slip) using beach balls. Beach balls describe the focal mechanism occurring at a given fault.
Figure 1: Different types of faults and associated focal mechanisms. The black parts are under
compression and the white parts under tension. For the strike-slip faults, the circle with the cross
means that the block is sliding further from you, while the dot inside the circle means that the
block is sliding towards you. For all three cases, the direction of the fault is through the page.
Part II: Using beach balls to understand the regional tectonics around Turkey Figure 2 shows the
focal mechanisms for the eastern Mediterranean region. 1) Draw arrows showing the relative
motion across some of the main fault zones (shown with eleven pairs of dots), using the beach
balls on Figure 2 and help from Figure 1. Note that for strike-slip faults, there are usually two
possibilities (e.g., left-lateral strike slip fault oriented N-S or right-lateral strike-slip fault
oriented W-E). However, here, you already have the direction of the fault, so there is only one
possibility. 2) Draw arrows showing the motion of the three southern plates relative to Eurasia.
That means that Eurasia, in this exercise, is not moving. Motion of the three southern plates are
shown with four boxes. A good way to work this problem is to imagine cutting the map on the
next page map into pieces along the plate-bounding faults, tape Eurasian to a table, and try
sliding the blocks to see if you can find a way to move them that is consistent with the focal
mechanisms. Figure 2, next page: (top). Focal mechanisms for the eastern Mediterranean region.
(bottom) Topographic and bathymetric maps to be completed with relative motions of the plates.

(bottom) Topographic and bathymetric maps to be completed with relative motions of the plates.

this? 6) There are elongated islands, peninsulas and inlets in Greece that trend SE-NW to E-W.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

How to Fix the Import Error in the Odoo 17Celine George
An import error occurs when a program fails to import a module or library, disrupting its execution. In languages like Python, this issue arises when the specified module cannot be found or accessed, hindering the program's functionality. Resolving import errors is crucial for maintaining smooth software operation and uninterrupted development processes.
