Descriptive Essay On Nightmare
Isabella ELA8H 9 Oct. 2017 "Nightmare" The pitch black night, cold and foggy. The only thing
that kept my body warm was the sweat dripping along the sides of my face. Where I'm running, I
don't know, but I do know it's away from her. Floating above the ground she is coming closer and
closer. She, the ghost that is haunting me,is wearing that old torn dress, with her floating almost
transparent self coming toward at me. Her white hair covering her face as her rotten long nails are
coming closer and closer. " You can't hide I WILL FIND YOU!" She then cease to exist , I look
around HOW?! She just vanished out of thin air, THIN AIR!?! BEEP BEEP BEEP! My alarm, as
awake as the sun at dawn, is waking me up from that vivid dream of...show more content...
Thank you Boss." " No problem Jared!" I scurry off, looking around to make it seem less suspicious.
But HOW! How is it possible that she found out the building I worked at?! Is she that determined
to find me?? Then I hear it, " Why are you scared? Don't run away." her voice soft and hushed as if
she's whispering. " F–K OFF!! LEAVE ME ALONE!! PLEASE!" " I didn't mean to cause you any
harm Jared. NOW YOU ASKED FOR IT!" I look around, the lights they're flickering. I spot a door
at the end of the hall glowing and everything else becoming dark. She comes out, with the glow
around her she seems more inhuman. The torn dress is ripped even more, her all black eyes
looking at me. Running, away from her, I feel as if I'm in the same position, and as it time has
stopped but it hasn't. The time is going by much more faster now, but I'm not going anywhere. A
storage closet! I throw myself in and lock the door. I am panting, but try to control my breath for
she won't hear it. " You can run but YOU CAN'T HIDE." Then, footsteps as loud as drums in this
isolated part of the hospital are being heard. And they are approaching my door very closely. The
doorknob begins to nudge, but another pair of footsteps can be heard approaching the hall. "
Why–wha–what? Why is she f––g walking can't she just float?!" I mumble to myself in the
darkness. I look at my surroundings to see what is there that is helpful enough to beat up this ghost.

Descriptive Essay About Animals
Animals are my favorite things in the world! Me and my family had an amazing trip to Wild
Wonders, where I saw and pet so many adorable animals that live there. My family includes my
mom, my dad, my brothers Jackson and Gavin, and my cousins, Kyra and Lily. We went to wild
wonders on a hot and sunny day. The sky was clear baby blue, dotted with the occasional fluffy
white cloud. Wild Wonders is in Bonsall, California. I grew a lot from that trip, and I learned a
valuable lesson. In the beginning, I drive for quite a while. The wind is whipping my long blonde
hair around in my face, and my brown eyes are twinkling with excitement. I look out my window
at the constantly changing landscape. One minute I see a large grove of short and stubby avocado
trees growing off the side of a mountain, the next minute I see red brick houses and tall buildings
stretching on and on in the sea I call a city. "Wow, Wyatt, I'm so excited! I cannot wait to get there."
I hear my cousin's voice and I turn around and see her smiling face. She looks almost exactly like
me, but with way more freckles and she has a girl's facial structure. "Yeah. I'm also really excited,
Lily," I agree. "I can't believe we waited for so long and it's finally here." While me and Lily talk
about what animals we think are going to be there, Jackson, Gavin, and Kyra all play the cheesy car
games "Would You Rather" and "Truth or Dare" and "I Spy". Lily is 10, I'm 11, Jackson and Kyra
are 13 and 14, and Gavins 15. We

Research Paper On Disneyland
Ever heard of this place called Disneyland? Yes, that huge phenomenon that every little child loves
and even teenagers and adults love. Where there is these amazing rides and every Disney character
you can think of is there! You probably know it as this amazing place that everyone loves and there
is no wrong! Or maybe parents even know Disneyland from taking their child there so maybe they
could get their energy taken out!
But little do you know is that this place has a very darker side than we really know. We believe
this place is so innocent and so nice and peaceful but we are wrong. This place is haunted and most
people don 't even know this.
Have you gone to Disneyland and feel maybe a chill even though there was no wind? Or a...show

The Monorail: The Monorail seems the least place to be haunted but some people don 't even know
about the death of this poor innocent 19 year–old boy. You know how teenage boys are, always
getting in trouble and fooling around. Little did this 19 year–old boy know that his fooling around
might be the cause of his death. This boy decided to come to Grad Night, which is where high
school graduates can come into Disneyland after hours as much as they want. Well he decided to
play on the Monorail and the security guard already told him a lot of times to "get off this because
it's very dangerous". Well they boy decided not to listen and his consequences were getting dragged
30–40 feet just right before the train came to a stop. Many heard rumors about that late at night
some after hour workers would see a young man walking the Monorail tracks just where this 19
year–old boy died. They would say they would look up and see the boy for a split second and then
all of a sudden, he just disappears. Don't believe it's haunted yet, just wait till the next story!
The Most Haunted Mansion Ever:
Everyone knows Disneyland 's Mansion! It's only the most known places in Disneyland and also
known as the most Haunted Mansion. Of course people would believe that it's haunted because, I
mean come on! It's a mansion! A lot of mansions are haunted but nothing

Descriptive Essay On Interview
Location
For the three interviews, I went to a coffeeshop, an apartment, and an office. I decided on going to
a coffee shop for the first interview because it was a public place and to be honest, I really wanted
coffee that morning. It was a great place to feel relaxed and at home with the interview which I
believe translated into a better interview. I felt a lot more comfortable asking different questions and
the interviewee felt more comfortable with sharing information that might be considered more
personal. The only compliant I would have with the coffee shop was the audio recording quality
since it was a little noisy. The second location was the apartment of the lawyer. It was one of the
first times I met him so I was a little worried at first going into his home alone but he had a nice
dog and was super friendly. The home–like atmosphere made it a lot more comfortable on both ends
to talk and share information that might otherwise been held back. The audio quality was great
considering it was a lot more quiet of a place. You can really hear the difference in the quality. The
final interview was in a law office close to campus. I loved how close to campus it was which
made it easy to commute to. Doing interviews in the office made it seem a lot more professional.
While the interviewee was very comfortable in the office, I was not. He was sitting behind a giant
wooden desk which made things seem like he was in charge even though he was the interviewee. It
made things

Descriptive Essay On A Hotel
When people visit Las Vegas, Nevada they are looking to let loose and have fun. Part of that
experience is finding a hotel that you can enjoy and relax in. This past summer I was very much
looking forward to my first time in Vegas. I wasn't planning on doing anything too serious but, I
was hoping to soak up some sun and rest in a comfortable hotel bed. My two sisters and I were
taking our mom to the airport so it was just an overnight trip and I was going to make the best of
it. Before we picked where we would be spending our evening in Vegas we did research on
multiple hotels. The Rio had great reviews, was within our price range, and since it was on the
other side of the interstate it wasn't right on the famous Strip but, close enough we could walk to
it. So, when we booked the room we were excited with our choice, and eagerly waited for our trip to
come. The drive was long, I was tired and hot so when we finally got to the Rio All–Suite Hotel and
Casino I was expecting to rest and then go have some fun. This place didn't meet our expectations
the way we had hoped. It was unpleasant, to say the least, the noises were chaotic, the floor plan
was horrible, and anything you did there was designed to take your money.
If you are looking for a hotel with a peaceful and quiet environment then the Rio will leave you
feeling disappointed. I'm a mom of 4 kids under the age of 7 and I have two puppies at home so
when I say the noise was too loud you know I'm not lying. The minute I stepped into the Rio my
ears were ringing so bad I felt like I had bells attached to my head. Waiting to check in I noticed
the loud obnoxious chimes and whistles of the slot machines, it was almost as bad as nails on a
chalkboard. Then the music, there were so many stores and restaurants with their own background I
felt like I was back home listening to all the musical and talking toys my kids own turned on all at
once. After finally getting to our hotel room, which was next to the elevators, I had the honor of
listening to all the drunk people yelling and even occasionally running through the halls.
The layout of the Rio and its parking area was an added stress. The parking lot was uneasy to
navigate which was a hassle but add in what

How to Write a Descriptive Essay
More than many other types of essays, descriptive essays strive to create a deeply involved and
vivid experience for the reader. Great descriptive essays achieve this affect not through facts and
statistics but by using detailed observations and descriptions.
What do you want to describe?
As you get started on your descriptive essay, it's important for you to identify exactly what you
want to describe. Often, a descriptive essay will focus on portraying one of the following: a person a
place a memory an experience an object
Ultimately, whatever you can perceive or experience can be the focus of your descriptive writing.
Why are you writing your descriptive essay?

I threw on my jacket, snow pants, boots, and hat as quickly as I could, preparing for the journey
from my cozy home into the sub zero weather. "Don't forget your scarf, sweetie!" my mom yelled
to me as I struggled to open the front door while holding a sled in one hand and a pair of gloves in
the other. Successfully turning the lock and pushing the handle, my eyes caught sight of a scene
that I've only dreamed of: a blanket of white covered everything I could lay my eyes on. Houses,
cars, mailboxes, and even fire hydrants were coated in a sea of bright flurries that reflected the
sun. Pulling the hand warmers out of my coat pocket, I tore off the wrapper, shook them, and
stuck them inside my gloves as I slid them on and began to make my way down, what I thought
was our driveway, towards the sidewalk with the dog sled dragging alongside my footsteps
collecting the top layer of the powdery white flakes as the loud crunching of snow being packed
down with every step I took filled my ears. Finally I reached a long narrow ice kissed sidewalk,
the once cold, wet burdensome boots I had on become as light as a feather as I skated along the
frozen pathway. A treacherous climb up the long, steep staircase covered in slush leading to the top
of the sled hill laid before me. Unfortunately this was the only way up, so I began my hike, only to
be disturbed by the cool chilly winds. At last,...show more content...

Descriptive Essay About Autumn
Misty dew covers the entire surface of the field. The yellowing corn stalks stand erect and proud
until my grandpas tractor comes to end their growth. Autumn slowly weaves its way in and leaves
a stain of brilliant color in its wake. Not everyone enjoys such colors, but when you take a second
to step outside your doorstep, and look at all the wonders that surround you, you'd be surprised at
how marvelous the world can truly be. To me, Autumn is a time for relishing in the colors. Soaking
in the oranges and reds while sitting by a warm fire. It's a time for remembering that everything
does end, but it does not have to end in the dreadful way we think it will. Autumn is a time for the
closeness of others to keep out the chill of the morning and the starry–eyed darkness of the night.
The colors are astonishing. No longer does green dwell the trees. It seems the entire world is on
fire. The bright yellow has mingled with the orange to create small flames, flickering from the
branches of trees. They fall to the ground and ignite the earth. It has been said before that fire is
pure and cleans everything it touches. It takes something broken and dead and gives it one last
spurt of beauty. One last goodbye before it leaves forever. The bed of the fire is a deep blue, so
searing it burns any who come near. The heat makes my eyes water and stings my uncovered face.
I want to get as close as possible. To see the embers be swept with the glorious reds and royal blues.
The heat is

Just a Bunch of Growers
When I thought of california I thought of sun, palm trees and warm weather. This is not one of
those places. When I found out I was going to California, I packed a bunch of shorts. When I got
to Petrolia I realized what a mistake I had made. Petrolia was not sunny and warm. For it was cold
and dark where the hippies go to die and grow their weed. I stayed and my sisters bosses guest
apartment above the garage. The apartment was dusty and filled with art work. Nobody had been
in the apartment in quite some time. It smelled like old people. The apartment was just one room,
a big living room with a kitchen and a bathroom. The bathroom was connected to both rooms. The
toilet had a douche in it with a sign saying put toilet paper in the trash. The property was a small
organic farm with a small man made pond and sauna with stain glass windows. The sauna was free

Descriptive Essay On Dystopia
Dystopian Setting
The city that once had homed thousands and been the most economically successful country ever,
was now a contaminated wasteland. The land looked dry, destroyed and lonely. The morning
breeze felt like crying sorrows, and the grey deceitful sky awed down at us. In the deepest corner of
despair lies dystopia where hope dies. As someone looks through the eyes of the devil, they see his
utopia. Only visible by the dim light of the moon was the great wall. Beyond the wall? No one knew.
Stretching away from the wall was a humongous bridge that towered the wall. Standing tall on the
bridge was a tower, which had two circles that almost looked like eyes. Those mysterious, creepy
and dangerous looking eyes stared down at the city giving away a haunting look.
The reek of death hangs in the air throughout the land. Filling the mouths of those who lived in this
abandoned land was the taste of burnt garlic. The screams and cries of terror undistinguishable
between beast and human fill the ears of the last ones living. The sky, which was lit by the glow of
fires, is grey and empty. Decaying bodies and...show more content...

black ash like smoke. Aggressively, the wind walked past the building with its cruddy feeling,
blowing away all signs of life. Deeper and deeper into the land was a burning car door. The fire
roared and crackled. The roaring and crackling of the burning car door merged with the aggressive
air and created the loudest sounds ever heard on land. Growing darker, the skies made me feel

Descriptive Essay On The Desert
The hot, arid air burned into my soul as millions of needles pricked my delicate skin. Beads of
sweat coursed down my face as I turned towards the window facing the barren desert surrounding
me. My family and I were on an ever sought vacation to the Grand Canyon, yet we had to drive
from New York to Arizona and I radiated impatience throughout the journey. Walls of heat
shrouded me as I gasped for air, yet my efforts were fruitless, swallowing nothing but fire. As my
lungs collapsed, I looked out the window and into the heart of the looming sun, taunting me from
afar. Suddenly, my eyes gave out and sweat and tears engulfed them till they took their true form.
A forest blanketed with soft and gleaming snow, blemished by the phrase: "Only 10 more
minutes." However, I was awakened from my revery by a vehement cry as I gazed into the eyes
of tattered vultures, of every discrepancy, with an unforgettably shrill voice. "Who dares enter our
land!" they screeched dissonantly. Trembling, my eyes flashed over the sun and I was standing
in a perpetual desert, with vulture's eyes glued to me. I froze with fear, though the sun baked my
skin. "A meal for today," the vultures rasped flamboyantly, "cooked to a crisp!" "Uh," I sighed, "I
couldn't wait 10 minutes to save me from you repulsive demons." I woke up, like a corpse rises
from the grave, my bloodshot eyes flooded with tears. The cool air lulled my throat, dissipating the
faint memory of a raging fire and loathsome vultures

Another factor that plays a part in why I am shaped how I am is my family's economic

Descriptive Essay : A Trip To The Beach
The warm breeze of the ocean air flies past my face. The heat of the yellow sun was sizzling,
beating down against my skin, tanning and burning it within seconds. Beach goers were crowded
around in all directions. Seagulls gliding past the groups of people, scouting for dropped or
forgotten food to eat. Their little footprints marking a trail in the sand all over the place, going in a
million different directions, searching for their next meal. I take in the exquisiteness of it all, the
blue–green waves crashing into the sandy shore, making white foam and bubbles wash into the
sea, little boys and girls that are digging in the bright white sand running away from the small
waves before they get wet. The beach is a stunning place to be; there's just something about the
ocean waves and the sand between my toes that makes me just want to stay there forever. The
sand was a scorching heat, it burned our feet as we eagerly walked down to the ocean shore. Sea
oats (tallgrass important to sand dunes and beach plant life) and tiny red and black ants were
seen everywhere, covering the sand until we got closer to the sea. Small pieces of bright
seashells were scattered all over the place, cutting and poking our feet as we walked around.
Cigarette butts and trash from past visitors littered the beautiful sand. The beach was deep,
making our feet sink down with every step. Shoes made walking around the sand hard, as they
would just get filled with the white sand and make our feet heavier to lift up from the ground.
People were everywhere, their brightly colored umbrellas and towels covering the entirety of the
beach, adults and kids alike were rushing out into the waves with colorful surfboards and animal
floaties. My purple bag chair was sitting just in the right spot for the waves to flow up to my feet
and back down again. After awhile, the sand that's being taken in from the soft waves starts sinking
the chair legs down. The chair starts leaning forwards, almost completely knocking me into the wet,
sticky sand. Brightly colored Seashells come floating up next to me with the crashing waves, where
I am low enough to the ground that I can quickly scoop them up before the ocean takes them away

Descriptive Essay On The Old House
The old house has been abandoned for years but on one day I saw a light shine throw the old
house window. I thought to myself wondering how there was a light no one lives there. At least
that's what I always thought.... One day I had decided to go to the old house to see if there really
was someone there I walked up to the house and I nervously moved my hand towards the door to
knock I heard a big crash and, a loud scream like someone was possessed so I ran back home. I told
myself tomorrow I will go back to try again. So the next day I went back to the old abandoned house
to go knock on the front door and I saw a raven flying across the water. It was almost as if the
raven was protecting the old house. For whatever may be inside the old house.
I was so nervous but my mind was in a different universe telling me you must go inside the house
and find out the truth of the old abandoned house. So I keep on walking going towards the old house.
My whole body was shaking in despite of what might be inside. Wondering to myself is someone in
there is someone hurt is someone getting killed whats going on all these questions running through
my brain...
So I approached the door and I moved my hand to knock once then twice the door flung open and
it was dark inside but I caught myself just walking I could not stop I don't know why I keep on
walking. Then I heard the scream again I ran up the stairs scared but I knew I could not stop so I

Campus Descriptive Essay
West Virginia University has hands down the most gorgeous campus I have ever seen. Every
morning I would wake up knowing that I have the privilege of attending a good school with a
breathtakingly beautiful campus. I was gradually awoken by the warm rays of sunlight filtering
into my room like a gentle wake up call. I got up to look out the window and I saw my fellow
classmates walking to class and going about their days. Stretching and yawning I prepare myself for
the day. I cannot help but to think that today is going to be a good day. As I stepped outside for the
first time I felt the cool breeze gently blowing between the buildings, giving everyone it touches a
breath of fresh air. Strolling through campus, I stopped for a minute to admire how the sun was
shining down on like a spotlight on all the beautiful blue and gold flowers. The landscapers
worked hard planting the flowers of the most royal of blues and the perfect shade of golden
yellow. Walking further down the hill I saw the familiar "flying dub v" on every passing persons
clothing. Most of my classmates were in a rush to get to class, but I took my time just absorbing
my surroundings. A strong breeze carried the scent of freshly cut grass to my nose and embraced
me as I continued my journey to class. Passing several students on my way, nodding my head in
acknowledgement, a few familiar faces make eye contact and smile. The weather that day was

It's been a long while since I last visited that place, I don't know what kept me from going but I just
could never bring myself to do so. It was like a moaning howl in the back of my troubled mind and I
have had enough of it. I was going to be brave, like I promised her I'd be. And this time I meant it.
The place I was heading for wasn't pretty but it wasn't ugly either, it was a place full of sad and
longing memories. I felt the same way about it as I do with snow, maybe because it reminded me
of her, same glittering white like her hair and ice blue frozen rivers that match the colour of her
eyes or maybe it's because she always liked the snow or just maybe it was snowing when she
disappeared. It was at that thought that I figured out why I was so hesitant to go, it was sadness and
loneliness...
I was at the local train station waiting for the next train to appear, I wasn't going to have to wait long
as the train appeared after about 10 minutes.
The ride was going to be long, that was to be expect since the place I was going to was a cemetery
that was in the countryside, I moved and lived in the city for two years and this is the first time I
decided to go back to my hometown. As I looked outside, I could see numerous trees and
meadows that waved to me as the wind blew as if greeting and welcoming me back. I soon grew
bored from the welcoming wind and decided to reminisce about my late wife and first love.
We both first met in our second year of high school, we were both 17 and had the same interest in
literature, and we would often eat lunch and read our favourite books to each other at lunch time
and during holidays. Soon we graduated and were off to university, I studied creative writing and
English and became an author while she studied teaching and became a history teacher. We both
got married at the age of 25, had children at 27 and lived together for 62 years until she passed away
at the age of 89. I had to go to her grave and apologise for not visiting for so long.
The train finally stopped to a screeching halt when it arrived at the train station, I got off the train

Descriptive Essay On A Trip
The art studies–at–large trip has been a once in a lifetime trip. From a twenty–four hour plane trip
with a stop in Chicago and time zone change, it has been an exhausting yet enjoyable time running
around with my classmates in the airport. Being in a different country and experiencing a new
culture first hand was astonishing and gave me a new outlook of the beauties in the world. From
Montone, Florence, Venice, andRome I had the ultimate trip in Italy. The food, language, and
culture were different from what I was used to but it was worth the experience. I was not fond of
drinking wine with every dinner though the wine was delicious. I had the best pastas, tiramisus,
and coffees while I was in Italy. The art was beautiful; it was breathtaking to see how many free
artworks was there for the public. After being in Italy for about a month I can see why people are
attracted and want to live in Italy. Montone is a beautiful, peaceful, and friendly town. I enjoyed
the walk to town, the covenant, Aries CafГ©, the tavern restaurant, and the town's people. I had
the best cappuccino and coffee at Aries and I loved every dish I ate at the tavern restaurant. The
view from the covenant was beautiful and works perfectly for a painting. Getting around town was
easy with everyone being so nice and helpful. The piazza was a great place to hang out because of
friendly the environment was and it was the main spot in town where everyone stayed. Getting a
chance to draw Italy's million

Descriptive Communication Essay
Vivian (Cam Tu– C02581886) – COMM 100
CHAP 6 : NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION
Text Description As we know, touching is a basic physical thing for all kinds of lives of the Earth,
and human or any kind of animal is the same. Touching can show and share the feeling, even when
those are hurt or happy they usually want to touch, or want to be touch of others, especially human.
Depend on the way people touch of others, we can understand at least their messages which they
want to transfer in some situations, we also can feel some of both of the one who gives touching and
the one get touching changing emotions after that, because everyone had lots of touch feeling
experience from we're born.
Personal Example Myself when in painful, I cannot feel grateful with all appease words from
another. Because in that sad situation, no one want to hear too much empty meaning words from
people, they just want to be alone or want someone can understand and share their feelings. So if
that's me, I hope once time someone can hold me tightly and let me cry in their arms, like they
agree to share all my pains. Therefore, when my friends or people who had relationships with me
fall into bad situations, I try to less talk, but touch their hand to give them more power and let them
know that they are not alone to deal with that happen. The true why I didn't hug them is, I don't want
to show too much my emotion in front of people. In my memory since I can understand about
feeling, I did not get any loving touch or kiss from my parent. Maybe they were too busy with
working or because they are classic Asian, so their traditions are keep love in heart without
showing to make the kids less naughty. That makes me feel shy whenever I want to show my
emotion with people close to me by touching, but I still want and need to have caring touch from
other, the real loving touch with good intention. By the way talk about touch, some people said
I'm friendly, some said I'm not, just because I don't do well to handle the fake welcome or fake
caring touch from them to me. I'm easy to realize who is wanting to share happy or sad with me
when they show that by their touches. Same as most people, I can feel my friends who are boys

  • 1. Descriptive Essay On Nightmare Isabella ELA8H 9 Oct. 2017 "Nightmare" The pitch black night, cold and foggy. The only thing that kept my body warm was the sweat dripping along the sides of my face. Where I'm running, I don't know, but I do know it's away from her. Floating above the ground she is coming closer and closer. She, the ghost that is haunting me,is wearing that old torn dress, with her floating almost transparent self coming toward at me. Her white hair covering her face as her rotten long nails are coming closer and closer. " You can't hide I WILL FIND YOU!" She then cease to exist , I look around HOW?! She just vanished out of thin air, THIN AIR!?! BEEP BEEP BEEP! My alarm, as awake as the sun at dawn, is waking me up from that vivid dream of...show more content... Thank you Boss." " No problem Jared!" I scurry off, looking around to make it seem less suspicious. But HOW! How is it possible that she found out the building I worked at?! Is she that determined to find me?? Then I hear it, " Why are you scared? Don't run away." her voice soft and hushed as if she's whispering. " F–K OFF!! LEAVE ME ALONE!! PLEASE!" " I didn't mean to cause you any harm Jared. NOW YOU ASKED FOR IT!" I look around, the lights they're flickering. I spot a door at the end of the hall glowing and everything else becoming dark. She comes out, with the glow around her she seems more inhuman. The torn dress is ripped even more, her all black eyes looking at me. Running, away from her, I feel as if I'm in the same position, and as it time has stopped but it hasn't. The time is going by much more faster now, but I'm not going anywhere. A storage closet! I throw myself in and lock the door. I am panting, but try to control my breath for she won't hear it. " You can run but YOU CAN'T HIDE." Then, footsteps as loud as drums in this isolated part of the hospital are being heard. And they are approaching my door very closely. The doorknob begins to nudge, but another pair of footsteps can be heard approaching the hall. " Why–wha–what? Why is she f––g walking can't she just float?!" I mumble to myself in the darkness. I look at my surroundings to see what is there that is helpful enough to beat up this ghost. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Descriptive Essay About Animals Animals are my favorite things in the world! Me and my family had an amazing trip to Wild Wonders, where I saw and pet so many adorable animals that live there. My family includes my mom, my dad, my brothers Jackson and Gavin, and my cousins, Kyra and Lily. We went to wild wonders on a hot and sunny day. The sky was clear baby blue, dotted with the occasional fluffy white cloud. Wild Wonders is in Bonsall, California. I grew a lot from that trip, and I learned a valuable lesson. In the beginning, I drive for quite a while. The wind is whipping my long blonde hair around in my face, and my brown eyes are twinkling with excitement. I look out my window at the constantly changing landscape. One minute I see a large grove of short and stubby avocado trees growing off the side of a mountain, the next minute I see red brick houses and tall buildings stretching on and on in the sea I call a city. "Wow, Wyatt, I'm so excited! I cannot wait to get there." I hear my cousin's voice and I turn around and see her smiling face. She looks almost exactly like me, but with way more freckles and she has a girl's facial structure. "Yeah. I'm also really excited, Lily," I agree. "I can't believe we waited for so long and it's finally here." While me and Lily talk about what animals we think are going to be there, Jackson, Gavin, and Kyra all play the cheesy car games "Would You Rather" and "Truth or Dare" and "I Spy". Lily is 10, I'm 11, Jackson and Kyra are 13 and 14, and Gavins 15. We Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Where there is these amazing rides and every Disney character you can think of is there! You probably know it as this amazing place that everyone loves and there is no wrong! Or maybe parents even know Disneyland from taking their child there so maybe they could get their energy taken out! But little do you know is that this place has a very darker side than we really know. We believe this place is so innocent and so nice and peaceful but we are wrong. This place is haunted and most people don 't even know this. Have you gone to Disneyland and feel maybe a chill even though there was no wind? Or a...show more content... The Monorail: The Monorail seems the least place to be haunted but some people don 't even know about the death of this poor innocent 19 year–old boy. You know how teenage boys are, always getting in trouble and fooling around. Little did this 19 year–old boy know that his fooling around might be the cause of his death. This boy decided to come to Grad Night, which is where high school graduates can come into Disneyland after hours as much as they want. Well he decided to play on the Monorail and the security guard already told him a lot of times to "get off this because it's very dangerous". Well they boy decided not to listen and his consequences were getting dragged 30–40 feet just right before the train came to a stop. Many heard rumors about that late at night some after hour workers would see a young man walking the Monorail tracks just where this 19 year–old boy died. They would say they would look up and see the boy for a split second and then all of a sudden, he just disappears. Don't believe it's haunted yet, just wait till the next story! The Most Haunted Mansion Ever: Everyone knows Disneyland 's Mansion! It's only the most known places in Disneyland and also known as the most Haunted Mansion. Of course people would believe that it's haunted because, I mean come on! It's a mansion! A lot of mansions are haunted but nothing Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Descriptive Essay On Interview Location For the three interviews, I went to a coffeeshop, an apartment, and an office. I decided on going to a coffee shop for the first interview because it was a public place and to be honest, I really wanted coffee that morning. It was a great place to feel relaxed and at home with the interview which I believe translated into a better interview. I felt a lot more comfortable asking different questions and the interviewee felt more comfortable with sharing information that might be considered more personal. The only compliant I would have with the coffee shop was the audio recording quality since it was a little noisy. The second location was the apartment of the lawyer. It was one of the first times I met him so I was a little worried at first going into his home alone but he had a nice dog and was super friendly. The home–like atmosphere made it a lot more comfortable on both ends to talk and share information that might otherwise been held back. The audio quality was great considering it was a lot more quiet of a place. You can really hear the difference in the quality. The final interview was in a law office close to campus. I loved how close to campus it was which made it easy to commute to. Doing interviews in the office made it seem a lot more professional. While the interviewee was very comfortable in the office, I was not. He was sitting behind a giant wooden desk which made things seem like he was in charge even though he was the interviewee. It made things Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Descriptive Essay On A Hotel When people visit Las Vegas, Nevada they are looking to let loose and have fun. Part of that experience is finding a hotel that you can enjoy and relax in. This past summer I was very much looking forward to my first time in Vegas. I wasn't planning on doing anything too serious but, I was hoping to soak up some sun and rest in a comfortable hotel bed. My two sisters and I were taking our mom to the airport so it was just an overnight trip and I was going to make the best of it. Before we picked where we would be spending our evening in Vegas we did research on multiple hotels. The Rio had great reviews, was within our price range, and since it was on the other side of the interstate it wasn't right on the famous Strip but, close enough we could walk to it. So, when we booked the room we were excited with our choice, and eagerly waited for our trip to come. The drive was long, I was tired and hot so when we finally got to the Rio All–Suite Hotel and Casino I was expecting to rest and then go have some fun. This place didn't meet our expectations the way we had hoped. It was unpleasant, to say the least, the noises were chaotic, the floor plan was horrible, and anything you did there was designed to take your money. If you are looking for a hotel with a peaceful and quiet environment then the Rio will leave you feeling disappointed. I'm a mom of 4 kids under the age of 7 and I have two puppies at home so when I say the noise was too loud you know I'm not lying. The minute I stepped into the Rio my ears were ringing so bad I felt like I had bells attached to my head. Waiting to check in I noticed the loud obnoxious chimes and whistles of the slot machines, it was almost as bad as nails on a chalkboard. Then the music, there were so many stores and restaurants with their own background I felt like I was back home listening to all the musical and talking toys my kids own turned on all at once. After finally getting to our hotel room, which was next to the elevators, I had the honor of listening to all the drunk people yelling and even occasionally running through the halls. The layout of the Rio and its parking area was an added stress. The parking lot was uneasy to navigate which was a hassle but add in what Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 7. Thief Descriptive Writing I threw on my jacket, snow pants, boots, and hat as quickly as I could, preparing for the journey from my cozy home into the sub zero weather. "Don't forget your scarf, sweetie!" my mom yelled to me as I struggled to open the front door while holding a sled in one hand and a pair of gloves in the other. Successfully turning the lock and pushing the handle, my eyes caught sight of a scene that I've only dreamed of: a blanket of white covered everything I could lay my eyes on. Houses, cars, mailboxes, and even fire hydrants were coated in a sea of bright flurries that reflected the sun. Pulling the hand warmers out of my coat pocket, I tore off the wrapper, shook them, and stuck them inside my gloves as I slid them on and began to make my way down, what I thought was our driveway, towards the sidewalk with the dog sled dragging alongside my footsteps collecting the top layer of the powdery white flakes as the loud crunching of snow being packed down with every step I took filled my ears. Finally I reached a long narrow ice kissed sidewalk, the once cold, wet burdensome boots I had on become as light as a feather as I skated along the frozen pathway. A treacherous climb up the long, steep staircase covered in slush leading to the top of the sled hill laid before me. Unfortunately this was the only way up, so I began my hike, only to be disturbed by the cool chilly winds. At last,...show more content... • 8. Descriptive Essay About Autumn Misty dew covers the entire surface of the field. The yellowing corn stalks stand erect and proud until my grandpas tractor comes to end their growth. Autumn slowly weaves its way in and leaves a stain of brilliant color in its wake. Not everyone enjoys such colors, but when you take a second to step outside your doorstep, and look at all the wonders that surround you, you'd be surprised at how marvelous the world can truly be. To me, Autumn is a time for relishing in the colors. Soaking in the oranges and reds while sitting by a warm fire. It's a time for remembering that everything does end, but it does not have to end in the dreadful way we think it will. Autumn is a time for the closeness of others to keep out the chill of the morning and the starry–eyed darkness of the night. The colors are astonishing. No longer does green dwell the trees. It seems the entire world is on fire. The bright yellow has mingled with the orange to create small flames, flickering from the branches of trees. They fall to the ground and ignite the earth. It has been said before that fire is pure and cleans everything it touches. It takes something broken and dead and gives it one last spurt of beauty. One last goodbye before it leaves forever. The bed of the fire is a deep blue, so searing it burns any who come near. The heat makes my eyes water and stings my uncovered face. I want to get as close as possible. To see the embers be swept with the glorious reds and royal blues. The heat is Get more content on HelpWriting.net

When I found out I was going to California, I packed a bunch of shorts. When I got to Petrolia I realized what a mistake I had made. Petrolia was not sunny and warm. For it was cold and dark where the hippies go to die and grow their weed. I stayed and my sisters bosses guest apartment above the garage. The apartment was dusty and filled with art work. Nobody had been in the apartment in quite some time. It smelled like old people. The apartment was just one room, a big living room with a kitchen and a bathroom. The bathroom was connected to both rooms. The toilet had a douche in it with a sign saying put toilet paper in the trash. • 12. Descriptive Essay On Dystopia Dystopian Setting The city that once had homed thousands and been the most economically successful country ever, was now a contaminated wasteland. The land looked dry, destroyed and lonely. The morning breeze felt like crying sorrows, and the grey deceitful sky awed down at us. In the deepest corner of despair lies dystopia where hope dies. As someone looks through the eyes of the devil, they see his utopia. Only visible by the dim light of the moon was the great wall. Beyond the wall? No one knew. Stretching away from the wall was a humongous bridge that towered the wall. Standing tall on the bridge was a tower, which had two circles that almost looked like eyes. Those mysterious, creepy and dangerous looking eyes stared down at the city giving away a haunting look. The reek of death hangs in the air throughout the land. Filling the mouths of those who lived in this abandoned land was the taste of burnt garlic. The screams and cries of terror undistinguishable between beast and human fill the ears of the last ones living. The sky, which was lit by the glow of fires, is grey and empty. Decaying bodies and...show more content... As I walked, the air of this haunted, dreadful and sorrowful land had sucked the life out of everything and roared as humanity began to disappear. Aggressively, the wind walked past the building with its cruddy feeling, blowing away all signs of life. Deeper and deeper into the land was a burning car door. The fire roared and crackled. The roaring and crackling of the burning car door merged with the aggressive air and created the loudest sounds ever heard on land. Growing darker, the skies made me feel nauseous. • 13. Descriptive Essay On The Desert The hot, arid air burned into my soul as millions of needles pricked my delicate skin. Beads of sweat coursed down my face as I turned towards the window facing the barren desert surrounding me. My family and I were on an ever sought vacation to the Grand Canyon, yet we had to drive from New York to Arizona and I radiated impatience throughout the journey. Walls of heat shrouded me as I gasped for air, yet my efforts were fruitless, swallowing nothing but fire. As my lungs collapsed, I looked out the window and into the heart of the looming sun, taunting me from afar. Suddenly, my eyes gave out and sweat and tears engulfed them till they took their true form. A forest blanketed with soft and gleaming snow, blemished by the phrase: "Only 10 more minutes." However, I was awakened from my revery by a vehement cry as I gazed into the eyes of tattered vultures, of every discrepancy, with an unforgettably shrill voice. "Who dares enter our land!" they screeched dissonantly. Trembling, my eyes flashed over the sun and I was standing in a perpetual desert, with vulture's eyes glued to me. I froze with fear, though the sun baked my skin. "A meal for today," the vultures rasped flamboyantly, "cooked to a crisp!" "Uh," I sighed, "I couldn't wait 10 minutes to save me from you repulsive demons." I woke up, like a corpse rises from the grave, my bloodshot eyes flooded with tears. The cool air lulled my throat, dissipating the faint memory of a raging fire and loathsome vultures Get more content on HelpWriting.net

For example, in school when we work in group projects we collaborate and communicate with people who think differently than us then work together to figure out whose ideas will work the best and how to improve them. Another factor that plays a part in why I am shaped how I am is my family's economic circumstances. I have always had access to anything I needed and for that I have extreme gratitude because I know some people have a lot of difficulty in life. Since I was born into a family with such good economic circumstances I have been lucky to have lots of opportunities. One Opportunity I had as a child was participating in taekwondo. • 15. Descriptive Essay : A Trip To The Beach The warm breeze of the ocean air flies past my face. The heat of the yellow sun was sizzling, beating down against my skin, tanning and burning it within seconds. Beach goers were crowded around in all directions. Seagulls gliding past the groups of people, scouting for dropped or forgotten food to eat. Their little footprints marking a trail in the sand all over the place, going in a million different directions, searching for their next meal. I take in the exquisiteness of it all, the blue–green waves crashing into the sandy shore, making white foam and bubbles wash into the sea, little boys and girls that are digging in the bright white sand running away from the small waves before they get wet. The beach is a stunning place to be; there's just something about the ocean waves and the sand between my toes that makes me just want to stay there forever. The sand was a scorching heat, it burned our feet as we eagerly walked down to the ocean shore. Sea oats (tallgrass important to sand dunes and beach plant life) and tiny red and black ants were seen everywhere, covering the sand until we got closer to the sea. Small pieces of bright seashells were scattered all over the place, cutting and poking our feet as we walked around. Cigarette butts and trash from past visitors littered the beautiful sand. The beach was deep, making our feet sink down with every step. Shoes made walking around the sand hard, as they would just get filled with the white sand and make our feet heavier to lift up from the ground. People were everywhere, their brightly colored umbrellas and towels covering the entirety of the beach, adults and kids alike were rushing out into the waves with colorful surfboards and animal floaties. My purple bag chair was sitting just in the right spot for the waves to flow up to my feet and back down again. After awhile, the sand that's being taken in from the soft waves starts sinking the chair legs down. The chair starts leaning forwards, almost completely knocking me into the wet, sticky sand. Brightly colored Seashells come floating up next to me with the crashing waves, where I am low enough to the ground that I can quickly scoop them up before the ocean takes them away again. • 17. Campus Descriptive Essay West Virginia University has hands down the most gorgeous campus I have ever seen. Every morning I would wake up knowing that I have the privilege of attending a good school with a breathtakingly beautiful campus. I was gradually awoken by the warm rays of sunlight filtering into my room like a gentle wake up call. I got up to look out the window and I saw my fellow classmates walking to class and going about their days. Stretching and yawning I prepare myself for the day. I cannot help but to think that today is going to be a good day. As I stepped outside for the first time I felt the cool breeze gently blowing between the buildings, giving everyone it touches a breath of fresh air. Strolling through campus, I stopped for a minute to admire how the sun was shining down on like a spotlight on all the beautiful blue and gold flowers. The landscapers worked hard planting the flowers of the most royal of blues and the perfect shade of golden yellow. Walking further down the hill I saw the familiar "flying dub v" on every passing persons clothing. Most of my classmates were in a rush to get to class, but I took my time just absorbing my surroundings. A strong breeze carried the scent of freshly cut grass to my nose and embraced me as I continued my journey to class. Passing several students on my way, nodding my head in acknowledgement, a few familiar faces make eye contact and smile. The weather that day was perfect, not too hot, but Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. Descriptive Essay It's been a long while since I last visited that place, I don't know what kept me from going but I just could never bring myself to do so. It was like a moaning howl in the back of my troubled mind and I have had enough of it. I was going to be brave, like I promised her I'd be. And this time I meant it. The place I was heading for wasn't pretty but it wasn't ugly either, it was a place full of sad and longing memories. I felt the same way about it as I do with snow, maybe because it reminded me of her, same glittering white like her hair and ice blue frozen rivers that match the colour of her eyes or maybe it's because she always liked the snow or just maybe it was snowing when she disappeared. It was at that thought that I figured out why I was so hesitant to go, it was sadness and loneliness... I was at the local train station waiting for the next train to appear, I wasn't going to have to wait long as the train appeared after about 10 minutes. The ride was going to be long, that was to be expect since the place I was going to was a cemetery that was in the countryside, I moved and lived in the city for two years and this is the first time I decided to go back to my hometown. As I looked outside, I could see numerous trees and meadows that waved to me as the wind blew as if greeting and welcoming me back. I soon grew bored from the welcoming wind and decided to reminisce about my late wife and first love. We both first met in our second year of high school, we were both 17 and had the same interest in literature, and we would often eat lunch and read our favourite books to each other at lunch time and during holidays. Soon we graduated and were off to university, I studied creative writing and English and became an author while she studied teaching and became a history teacher. We both got married at the age of 25, had children at 27 and lived together for 62 years until she passed away at the age of 89. I had to go to her grave and apologise for not visiting for so long. The train finally stopped to a screeching halt when it arrived at the train station, I got off the train and called for a taxi to take me to the cemetery where my wife is waiting for me. When I got there, the first thing I did was to go Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. Descriptive Essay On A Trip The art studies–at–large trip has been a once in a lifetime trip. From a twenty–four hour plane trip with a stop in Chicago and time zone change, it has been an exhausting yet enjoyable time running around with my classmates in the airport. Being in a different country and experiencing a new culture first hand was astonishing and gave me a new outlook of the beauties in the world. From Montone, Florence, Venice, andRome I had the ultimate trip in Italy. The food, language, and culture were different from what I was used to but it was worth the experience. I was not fond of drinking wine with every dinner though the wine was delicious. I had the best pastas, tiramisus, and coffees while I was in Italy. The art was beautiful; it was breathtaking to see how many free artworks was there for the public. After being in Italy for about a month I can see why people are attracted and want to live in Italy. Montone is a beautiful, peaceful, and friendly town. I enjoyed the walk to town, the covenant, Aries CafГ©, the tavern restaurant, and the town's people. I had the best cappuccino and coffee at Aries and I loved every dish I ate at the tavern restaurant. The view from the covenant was beautiful and works perfectly for a painting. Getting around town was easy with everyone being so nice and helpful. The piazza was a great place to hang out because of friendly the environment was and it was the main spot in town where everyone stayed. • 20. Descriptive Communication Essay Vivian (Cam Tu– C02581886) – COMM 100 CHAP 6 : NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION Text Description As we know, touching is a basic physical thing for all kinds of lives of the Earth, and human or any kind of animal is the same. Touching can show and share the feeling, even when those are hurt or happy they usually want to touch, or want to be touch of others, especially human. Depend on the way people touch of others, we can understand at least their messages which they want to transfer in some situations, we also can feel some of both of the one who gives touching and the one get touching changing emotions after that, because everyone had lots of touch feeling experience from we're born. Personal Example Myself when in painful, I cannot feel grateful with all appease words from another. Because in that sad situation, no one want to hear too much empty meaning words from people, they just want to be alone or want someone can understand and share their feelings. So if that's me, I hope once time someone can hold me tightly and let me cry in their arms, like they agree to share all my pains. Therefore, when my friends or people who had relationships with me fall into bad situations, I try to less talk, but touch their hand to give them more power and let them know that they are not alone to deal with that happen. The true why I didn't hug them is, I don't want to show too much my emotion in front of people. In my memory since I can understand about feeling, I did not get any loving touch or kiss from my parent. Maybe they were too busy with working or because they are classic Asian, so their traditions are keep love in heart without showing to make the kids less naughty. That makes me feel shy whenever I want to show my emotion with people close to me by touching, but I still want and need to have caring touch from other, the real loving touch with good intention. By the way talk about touch, some people said I'm friendly, some said I'm not, just because I don't do well to handle the fake welcome or fake caring touch from them to me. I'm easy to realize who is wanting to share happy or sad with me when they show that by their touches. Same as most people, I can feel my friends who are boys missing Get more content on HelpWriting.net
