At the end of the lesson, the learner should be able to:
1. Recognize the significance of knowing the meaning of regional literature in
relation to the development of Philippine literature; and
2. Understand the uniqueness of literature in different regions of the country.
Objectives
Introduction
Writing about the regions, in
the local language is a great
route for authors to go.
Although there is still a huge
gap between Ingliseros and
Tagalistas, dialect authors
are no longer isolated.
Regional
Literature
These are literary traditions in
written or oral, of the country's
numerous ethno-linguistic
groupings and communities is
considered to have unique
geographical contexts or identities.

learning other foreign literary.
