In this busy and competitive world, though we have lot of affection on our parents, grandparents or patients we cannot always stay with us when they are suffering from illness or diseases. But the advancements in current technologies are giving good solutions for such problems. With these solutions we can monitor patients health conditions through mobile from anywhere in the world. In this project we will create an application to monitor the patient’s health condition like monitoring temperature and heart beat from webpage. Whenever we open this application it gives the current status of patient’s health. At patient side we have Ethernet module, micro controller, temperature sensor and heart beat sensor. This micro controller will keep updating patient’s body temperature and heartbeat on webpage. We can check these value from anywhere on our Smart phones by opening this webpage from phone itself.

Real Time Hand Gesture Recognition Based Control of Arduino Robotijtsrd
The main objective of this project aims at delivering the need for one of many applications of the Internet of Things domain. It is a combination of various domains such as image processing and robotics for development in the field of the Internet Of Things IoT now also termed as Internet Of Everything IoE after seeing its involvement in almost everything happening in our day to day lives. With increased dependency on home automation and wireless controlled equipment and gadgets, this project also shares some scope in home automation. To improve the functionality of gadgets and to increase their efficiency we thought of creating a device to cater to these needs and explore alongside our own interest in the field of the Internet of Things. This paper presents the design, functioning, and successful testing of a rover controlled wirelessly with help of hand gestures. Gesture Recognition has played important role in the field of Human Computer Interaction HCI . Vision based hand gesture recognition provides a great solution to various machine vision based applications by providing an easy interaction channel. For various automated machine control applications, an effective real time communication approach is required. In this paper, a vision based hand gesture based approach is presented for providing a real time control of Arduino based robot. Combining all of these concepts into a single device that can recognize hand gestures and sends data wirelessly to remote devices for surveillance and other purposes. Smart sensors are an essential component of the Internet of Things (IoT), serving as the eyes and ears of connected devices and systems. These sensors use advanced technology to collect and transmit data on a wide range of physical and environmental parameters, enabling real-time monitoring and analysis.
Smart sensors come in a variety of types and form factors, ranging from small, low-power devices to larger, more complex systems. They may use various technologies to detect and measure parameters such as temperature, humidity, pressure, light, sound, and motion, among others. Some smart sensors are equipped with specialized functions, such as chemical or biological sensing, imaging, or radiation detection.
Smart sensors often use wireless communication technologies, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or cellular, to transmit their data to a central hub or cloud platform. This allows for the integration of sensor data with other systems and applications, enabling a wide range of functionality and services.
Smart sensors have numerous applications in various industries and sectors. In healthcare, for example, smart sensors can be used to monitor vital signs and provide remote patient monitoring. In agriculture, smart sensors can be used to optimize irrigation and fertilization, as well as to detect pests and diseases. In transportation, smart sensors can be used to improve traffic flow and safety, as well as to monitor vehicle performance and maintenance. In smart cities, smart sensors can be used to optimize energy consumption, improve environmental quality, and enhance public safety and security.
The implementation of smart sensor systems can bring many benefits and efficiencies, but it also poses challenges and risks. One of the main challenges is the integration of sensor data with other systems and applications, which requires robust and secure communication and data management infrastructure. Another challenge is the management and analysis of the large amounts of data generated by smart sensors, which may require sophisticated algorithms and software tools. There are also concerns around privacy and security, as the proliferation of smart sensors can enable the tracking and profiling of individuals and their activities.
To overcome these challenges and realize the full potential of smart sensors, it is important to adopt a holistic and strategic approach to their deployment and use. This may involve the development of standards and frameworks, the establishment of partnerships and collaborations, and the adoption of best practices and guidelines.
The future of smart sensors looks bright, as the technology continues to evolve and expand into new areas and applications. Some of the trends and developments in the field include the miniaturization and cost reduction of sensors, the enhancement of sensor performance and reliability, the integration of multiple sensing modalities, the development of intelligent sensor networks, and the integration o
An efficient IoT based biomedical health monitoring and diagnosing system usi...TELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
With the growing and aging population, patient auto monitoring systems are becoming more popular. Smart sensors linked with the internet of things (IoT) make patients' auto monitoring system possible. Nowadays myRIO with LabVIEW is more popular for easy data acquisition, instrument control, and automation. This paper proposed myRIO and IoT based health monitoring and diagnosing system (HMDS) to acquire heartbeat rate, pulse, blood pressure (BP), temperature and activities of the patient using various smart sensors with more accuracy. The acquired raw data from the various sensors had been sent to the myRIO using ESP 8266 Wi-Fi module. The received raw data by the myRIO would be processed to the equivalent medical parameters using LabVIEW and the same might be transferred to the remote monitoring system (RMS) using cloud via a gateway. The abnormalities in the obtained data would be monitored and the diagnosis was made. The experimental setup was developed using various wearable sensors, ESP 8266, myRIO with LabVIEW and cloud with the gateway.
