Driven by cost efficiency the Flemish department of Finance and Budgeting choose Microsoft SQL Server as their BI platform. Twelve months later the first projects are going into production. First implementations range from cash management, activity based costing and property taxing. Koen will give us an overview on why, what and how this financial department takes on the challenge of going from a stovepipe environment to a central data warehouse.
The ZOOOM European Project aims to raise awareness on the importance of IP generation and management in collaborative innovation ecosystems which rely on three key assets, software, hardware and data. Open software, hardware and data are essential for a sustainable, trustworthy and sovereign industrial ecosystem. However, lack of competences in matching business models with appropriate licensing frameworks prevents unlocking the full potential of emerging technologies.
The ZOOOM project started on 1st October 2022 and will end in September 2024. During the session we will present the project outline and the possible points of interest for the audience.
