author is feeling and to put across their opinion and
thought on the situation which is being discussed.
 The author has set his/her feelings in the story.
EXAMPLES OF TONE
1. The prisoner who escaped are violent and
dangerous.
2. Cyclops were lawless, without culture and ate
humans.
