Tom Jones is presented as an angry young man. Though he is ideal in some ways, he has bad sides as well since he was born out of wedlock and not fully accepted by society. When older, Tom engages in dishonest acts like robbery but also shows kindness by helping those in need. He loves Sophia but is disliked by Captain Bilfil. After learning that he engaged in relations with his own mother, Tom feels guilty and recognizes how his past actions have led to negative consequences.

Customers routinely buy products for all sorts of uses. A statutory definition of a medical
device based on whether and how customers actually use products for medical purposes
would be utterly impossible to administer, and frankly unfair. The statute potentially imposes significant regulatory obligations on the seller of a product, and making those obligations depend on the whim of the customer would take compliance completely outside of the control of the seller. So instead, under the statute, it is the seller’s intent with regard to how the customer should use the product that controls how the device is regulated, not how the customer actually does use the product.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

2. Tom as an angry young man
ThoughTom is a ideal hero, but he has many
bad sides. And an ideal hero should not have
any bad sides.
His birth is out of wedlock as he is an
illegitimate child. He is not welcomed by
everyone and does not belong to any class. He
is just an individual to survive.
Once squire Allworthy finds an infant and
inquires about it. Squire comes to know about
Jenny Jones but she is forced to accept that she
is the mother of that illegitimate child.
3. Allworthy is affectionate forTom, but captain Bilfil
dislikes him.
WhenTom is 14 years old, he become dishonest and
status doing robbery. But he steals for a good cause.
He helped the needy family of Allworthy’s
gamekeeper.
Tom and the gamekeeper are once caught for killing
a bird butTom is noble as he refuses to tell that the
gamekeeper has killed the bird because if he told the
name then he would have been thrown out of the
job.
Tom is so much good that he helps the starving
family of George and in order to help, sells his things
and gifts.
4. Tom loves Sophia and she loves him too. He
gives her gifts but Bilfil is jealous and releases a
bird that tom has gifted Sophia.
Molly is the daughter of Black George and many a
times seducesTom. After sometime she becomes
pregnant.
Whenever Squire visitsTom, he is concerned for
Tom and along with him brings Sophia. But he
does not want to marry Sophia toTom instead he
wants to marry her to ‘one of the richest men in
the country’.
5. Tom is thrown out of house with 500 pounds
when Allworthy comes to know aboutTom and
Sophia.ThenTom goes to London and faces
many problems.
There he stays in a inn and once Sophia also
comes to stay in that inn and Sophia comes to
know thatTom was in bed with a wench. She
becomes angry.
ThoughTom keeps relation with many women
but his true love is Sophia.Wherever in London
tom stays, people treat him kindly but he does
not remain at one place for a longer period.
6. When he comes to know that he has been
making love with a lady who is his mother, he
feels guilty and says that “ I myself is the cause of
all misery. All the grateful mischief which have
been fallen, we are the consequences only of my
folly n vice.”
Tom’s use of the word ‘consequences’ here is the
first instance of a recognition of a casual
relationship between events.
7. CONCLUSION
Whatever happens, the society blames him for
it. Not everyone loves him and is mostly ignored
by everyone.
When the society behaves abnormally with him
though his intention is not wrong. Then how can
one expect from tom to behave normally
towards society.
