Vantage Technology ConsultingGroup – Marketing Activities
I worked for Vantage Technology from February 2018 to September 2019 and was brought in to build awareness for the
company and the senior leadership team. Another goal was to document and streamline marketing and business development
processes across three offices.
My successes included:
 Developed content strategy to significantly increase brand awareness and expose firm thought leadership
 Re-launched website and developed new content which increased website pageviews by 53%
 Authored more than 100 blog posts and increased blog post pageviews from 10% to 25% of total website views
 Created content for more than 100 project profiles for the website along with updating other firm collateral
 Posted relevant content to LinkedIn, generated 3,000 monthly impressions and grew number of followers by 92%
 Launched 2 Twitter accounts and posted 3-4 times per day which drove more than 30,000 impressions per month
 Created marketing processes to add structure to the business development efforts
 Coordinated and tracked business development activities with customer relationship management system
 Tracked and analyzed all marketing and business development statistics on a monthly basis

I worked for Vision Internet from July 2015 through June 2017. Vision creates and hosts websites for cities, counties and other
governmental entities using a content management system (CMS) tailored to the government market. Vision was acquired by
Granicus in 2017 and is no longer an independent company.
My key duties included:
 Launched the first product marketing function for the company
 Managed 3 successful product launches - visionSocial, visionPulse and new Dashboard
 Developed marketing collateral, blog posts, internal talking points, demo scripts and launch videos
 Built awareness through social media and blogging
 Grew social media audience and wrote 48 blog posts
 Led Google Analytics training sessions at regional customer events
 Developed competitive battlecards for key competition
 Performed in-depth analyses of competitor pricing and capabilities
 Initiated win-loss analysis program to build learning into sales process
 Worked with Products team to survey and gather input from customers to improve product definitions
 Assisted in managing the beta testing program with the Products team
 Created sales readiness, demo materials

We used Hubspot to manage email, social publishing and landing pages. I created, edited and reviewed the inbound marketing
efforts for weekly email blasts and email campaigns for special events. In addition, I also created landing pages, wrote blog
posts and analyzed analytics using the Hubspot platform.

In 2013, the LinkedIn Company Page I managed for AppleOne was named one of the 10 Best Company Pages of 2013. You can
read more about the achievement in this blog post.
I managed this LinkedIn Company Page for AppleOne from March 2012 through June 2014 and grew followers from 3,990 to
over 28,000 in June 2014. In 2013, the account had more than 2.6 million impressions and was on target for more than 4 million
impressions in 2014.

that could be delivered on demand.

iRise – Strategic and Marketing Projects
User-Generated Video ContestCampaign
For iRise, I created and managed a video contest to stoke the creativity of our user base. An overview of the contest and a
summary of the results can be found on my social media blog.
We received44 entriesto the contest. During the contest, we had over 16,000 visitors to the contest website who looked at
57,000 pages and the videos received more than 30,000 views on YouTube.
iRise - On Campus and Entrepreneur Campaigns
At iRise, I also created and managed our On Campus and Entrepreneur campaigns. Inthe On Campus program, I connected
with professors who were teaching design, programming and entrepreneurial programs where we provided free access to our
rapid prototyping software. The Entrepreneur program provided free software trials to start-up companies to use our
software to help get their products and solutions off the ground.
iRise – Professional User Community
Another project at iRise was starting and nurturing a professional user community. The community was called Catalyze and
the target audience included business analysts, user experience professionals and web designers.
I developed the community strategy and was responsible for managing the community. I curated, created and posted
content, recruitedguest bloggers, hosted the monthly webinars and interacted with the members.
Over the 13 months ending in July 2008, the community grew from zero to over 4,000 members. During that time,the
Catalyze community site has had 68,000 visitors, 37,000 unique visitors and served up 293,000 pageviews with average visits
of 4 1/2 minutes per visit.

Unfortunately, iRise had to lay off 40% of their staff in 2008 and the professional community website was ultimately shut

Another goal was to document and streamline marketing and business development processes across three offices. You can read more about the achievement in this blog post. I managed this LinkedIn Company Page for AppleOne from March 2012 through June 2014 and grew followers from 3,990 to over 28,000 in June 2014. In 2013, the account had more than 2.6 million impressions and was on target for more than 4 million impressions in 2014. After the pilot program, I turned the training into a computer-based training that could be delivered on demand.

An overview of the contest and a summary of the results can be found on my social media blog. We received44 entriesto the contest. During the contest, we had over 16,000 visitors to the contest website who looked at 57,000 pages and the videos received more than 30,000 views on YouTube. iRise - On Campus and Entrepreneur Campaigns At iRise, I also created and managed our On Campus and Entrepreneur campaigns. Inthe On Campus program, I connected with professors who were teaching design, programming and entrepreneurial programs where we provided free access to our rapid prototyping software. The Entrepreneur program provided free software trials to start-up companies to use our software to help get their products and solutions off the ground. iRise – Professional User Community Another project at iRise was starting and nurturing a professional user community. The community was called Catalyze and the target audience included business analysts, user experience professionals and web designers. I developed the community strategy and was responsible for managing the community. I curated, created and posted content, recruitedguest bloggers, hosted the monthly webinars and interacted with the members. Over the 13 months ending in July 2008, the community grew from zero to over 4,000 members. During that time,the Catalyze community site has had 68,000 visitors, 37,000 unique visitors and served up 293,000 pageviews with average visits of 4 1/2 minutes per visit.
