Telekom Austria reported financial results for the first quarter of 2014. Revenues declined 7.0% year-on-year to EUR 975.9 million due to regulatory effects and declines in Austria, Bulgaria, and Croatia, partially offset by growth in additional markets. EBITDA comparable margin improved to 32.8% due to cost savings, though EBITDA comparable declined 5.0% to EUR 319.9 million. The company reiterated full-year 2014 guidance for a 3% revenue decline, capital expenditures of approximately EUR 700 million, and a proposed dividend of EUR 0.05 per share.
