This lab manual outlines 7 experiments for a 5th semester instrumentation technology course. The experiments cover topics such as introducing students to the lab layout, studying different instruments and their uses, measuring readings from Vernier calipers and micrometer screw gauges, studying stress and strain and measuring strains, connecting and using shear and torque strain gauges, connecting strain gauges to measure two-dimensional strains in a tension system, and developing dimensions using gauge blocks or slip gauges. The manual was submitted by Salman Jailani to their professor Engr. Ali Raza for the B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Engineering & Technology Lahore.
