Internationalized Domain Names(IDNs)

An internationalized domain name (IDN) is an Internet Domain Name that
contains at least one label that is displayed in a language-specific script other
than the Roman one (ASCII), such as Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, etc.
October 2009: ICANN adopted the Internationalized Top Level Domains
IDN ccTLD fast track
The IDNs are encoded in multi-byte Unicode. They are stored in the Domain
Name System (DNS) as ASCII strings using Punycode transcription. Thus, the IDN
doesn’t require any modification of the Internet Infrastructure.

language users :
the ability to type their URL in their language and access any content they
want
innovation
more importantly, the ability to produce a local content in local language
opportunities for new business
opportunities for e-learning, e-Gov and all e-applications

IPV6: an infinite number of IP Addresses  every person and every thing will
be connected  applications for remote control and remote management
Personal use: Car, refrigerator, air con, etc.
Besides the big economic gain drown from this usage, the development of the
appropriate applications for such usage will create an important opportunity of
local contents industry
Professional use: monitoring of the use of the company’s goods (cars,
machines, products, etc.)
The New Internet will modify our daily life and allow for Economic Development

economic benefit for the region, together with the new products & services
that will expand the market and enhance innovation

With the new Internet, our daily life will change, and new opportunities for
business will emerge especially for developing economies since those
businesses don’t require huge investment in machines and raw products as for
the traditional industry.
This is another opportunity for our region and the developing countries in
general to make use of the possibilities made available by the new Internet
for economic development
