Tigers live in Asia and parts of eastern Russia. They have a scientific name of Panthera tigris and typically eat medium and large animals like leopards, pythons, and monkeys. Tigers are typically yellow to reddish in color and can grow up to 10 feet long for males and 8 feet for females. Females give birth to litters of 3-4 cubs after a 16 week gestation period. Tigers have many unique traits that help them be effective hunters, such as sharp teeth and speed.
