Tibet is facing trouble because whenever Tibetans come into contact with outsiders, they are beaten and imprisoned by Chinese troops. As a result of the large Chinese population in Tibet, Tibetans have died from starvation, suicide, imprisonment, torture, and uprisings. While China claims it has owned Tibet since the 13th century and says it is helping Tibet, the document argues China wants more land and is not actually helping Tibet, which it says is technically its own country separate from China.
