Through Christ! A message from Jesus
When you truly lean on Me and depend on My strength,
then nothing will be too difficult for you to handle. It's
not that you will never have difficult things to do, but
they won’t become so huge that they crush you or
overwhelm you. Equally, it's not that there will never
be any plain hard work that you have to buckle down
and do, but that work is less daunting when you
depend on Me through the process.
When you come across
something that you
know is going to be
very hard for you to
do, you have to trust
that I will also give you
the strength to do it.
But you only get this
promised strength
through Me—by
spending time alone
with Me. As it
says in Philippians
4:13 (NKJV), “I
can do all things
through Christ who
strengthens me.”
It's not easy to discipline
yourself to get quiet, to calm
your spirit and bring it into
subjection to My Spirit so
that you can absorb My
strength and My peace,
especially in the middle
of a hectic day. But
by doing so, you
will learn how to
handle pressure
without feeling
under pressure.
You may need to train yourself to lean on Me for
your strength. If you don't figure out how to find
the strength that I have promised to you, you'll
constantly be doing things and going places
without a sense of peace and a calm spirit.

If you train yourself to lean
on Me and find your strength
from Me, you will be able to do
all these things with a calmer,
more trusting spirit; and as a
result, you'll be happier.
