A 65-year-old male presented with a painful throat due to an impacted fishbone in his supraglottic area. He had mild hoarseness but no signs of airway obstruction. He was given high-flow nasal oxygen for 5 minutes and then underwent general anesthesia for laryngoscopy and successful removal of the fishbone using Magill forceps. The procedure took 15 minutes and his oxygen saturation remained above 99% throughout.
