This is a visual introduction to the
various artists who will feature in
            my magazine.
• In order for an artist or the band to appear in
my magazine, they should celebrate rock
genre of music. Furthermore, a typical artist
will wear dark clothes or something which
associates with the genre of music they
perform. It is also common to see artists with
tattoos or piercing, which seems to be a way
  how they express themselves
Hollywood Undead
Hollywood Undead
• The artist which I chose to feature on my front cover, as
well as on my double page spread is a famous American
band Hollywood Undead. Its was originally put together by
its lead singer Deuce in 2005 and reached its pick of
popularity in 2007, when it released an Album called ‘Swan
song’. Deuce asked his friends to help him out to form a
band, which consisted of six members: Jordon
Terrell, George Ragan, Matt St Claire, Jorel Decker, Dylan
Alvarez and Deuce himself (Aaron Erlichman), more
famously known under their stage names: Charlie
Scene, Johnny 3Tears, Da Kurlzz, J-Dog and Funnyman.
However, in 2010 Deuce have left the band and was soon
replaced by its new lead singer Danny. When the band
announced the departure of Deuce, it brought up a big
scandal around the band. The real reasons for Deuce
departure are still unknown, since both sides have different
  reasons and stories to tell.
Deuce
Deuce
• Another artist which would feature on my cover page
and double page spread is Deuce, the x-lead singer of
Hollywood Undead. In 2010 he was thrown out of the
rock band, which he created and from then on forward
he began his solo career. In 2012 he released his first
album called ‘Nine Lives’ and the single ‘America’ sold
around 36,000 copies since its release, making it the
most commercially successful single of the album.
Many of the song which Deuce writes and performs are
about his personal life. The songs are usually how
tough it was on him after he was forced to live the
band and how much he was hurt when he was
  betrayed by his best friends.
• I chose those two bands to be the highlights of
my front page and double page spread, since I
would like to write an article, which would reveal
the truth about the departure of Deuce and who
was really to blame for that. I believe that this is a
very interesting topic that will appeal to my
target audience, since it will provide the audience
with information and details, which they were
always curious to find out. Deuce and Hollywood
Undead represent the genre of music, which my
  magazine celebrates i.e. Rock music.
