The founder of Adriana Furs, Sohrab Tebyanian fell in love with Chicago on his first visit 30 years ago and bought a store that was for sale during that same trip. Sohrab Tebyanian enjoys spending time in Chicago, including along the coast of Lake Michigan. Chicago’s Lake Shore Drive is one of the most attractive urban parkways in the country, running 15 miles along Lake Michigan and past some amazing attractions. For those who want to explore on foot, the Lakefront Trail follows the lake and affords great views of the downtown area. Navy Pier is another great place to go for a stroll around all the restaurants or take a ride on the giant Ferris wheel, which pays homage to the original Ferris wheel built for the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. Finally, visitors can take a walk through Grant Park and check out Buckingham Fountain, which shoots 150 feet into the air. Lake Shore Drive also provides easy access to many cultural institutions, including the Museum of Science and Industry and the Museum Campus, which includes the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, and Shedd Aquarium. Sports fans can also stop at Soldier Field, which now serves as a home for the Chicago Bears. Finally, the entire family can enjoy Lincoln Zoo, situated on both sides of Lake Shore Drive.
