What is the speaker's thesis? Is there a bias? The thesis of this talk is that nonverbals, which is the type of communication that does not require words
influence our thoughts, our feelings, and our psychology. I feel like it's debatable on whether or not that this TED talk has a bias. It doesn't seem
biased because the topic of her talk is based off of scientific facts because research was actually conducted to see if nonverbals did affect our thoughts,
feelings, and psychology. In her talk she mentioned that those who were told to pose in "powerful" positions like putting hands on the hips pose
(the Wonder Woman pose) were tested to have higher testosterone, the dominance hormone; and less cortisol, the stress hormone. This means that
by being in these positions, it relieves a lot of stress, which makes us feel more confident about ourselves and thus making us feel good. While who
were told to be in low power poses had results that indicated a drop in testosterone and a rise in cortisol. This meant that while being in these low
power positions, we actually do feel worse because we're more stressed and we feel powerless. So through the results of these researches, we can see

I do find her arguments to be convincing because they were supported by scientific proof that were based off of her and other psychologists'
research. Another reason why I found her arguments to be convincing is that most the facts that she stated in her talk were relatable. I often get told
that if I wanted to feel better about myself in a certain situation, I needed to stand up straight and hold my head up high. In the TED talk, Amy Cuddy
said that if we put ourselves in positions like that, we will feel great because those poses will release hormones that will affect us psychologically.

Instead, I think the main thing you should focus on for Draft 2 is organizing your paper so it is all supporting information for your thesis. In both your
background and analysis section, ask yourself whether the information is there to support your thesis or whether it a secondary point. If it is a secondary
point, then I probably wouldn't include it.
2.Organization: I would encourage you to try and increase your use of both umbrella paragraphs and topic/thesis sentences. Generally, at the beginning
of each section or subsection, you should have an umbrella/roadmap paragraph to explain what is to come. That way a reader really understanding
where you are going and how things fit together. Same with topic/thesis sentences. From a structural point of view, your background may end up being
a bit long. Youwant your background to be shorter than your analysis section. At your current fourteen pages, you may want to watch out for the
background section overshadowing the analysis section. I think there is some room to cut, but you are going to have to figure out what it ends up
being important to your thesis, and what is noise that is only related to your thesis.

Drumming has become his life, he is no longer concentrated on being a good person instead he is focused on being remembered, as demonstrated after
the car accident, Nieman is determined to succeed and please Fletcher, thus continuing to play. As he plays every excruciating beat, his blood drips onto
the drum set; representing the pain that he is willing to go to achieve success. Neiman's madness is stopped by Fletcher's two words: "You're done".
Along with lighting and dialogue, the volatile and manipulative relationship between Fletcher and Nieman is explored through Chazelles use of
cinematography.
Music, editing, and camera angles are used by Chazelle to explore the effects of a volatile and manipulative student–teacher relationship. The
cinematography and music used throughout the scene intensify the volatile relationship

The book "Notes from the midnight driver" is about Alex Gregory a young boy and his best friend Laurie. In their journey together, they encounter
many struggles and through their ventures, they learn many lessons. Throughout the book, the characters of this book have shown many signs of
service. A service is an act of helping someone else either for your own benefit or theirs. Service shown by these characters turn out to be not selfish
because most of their acts are done out of kindness and never thought about their own benefit.This book shows, acts of kindness done by the various
characters introduced, like Alex's best friend Laurie and his Uncle Larry, who helped him and did not expect anything back. As the story progresses

Also, when Laurie was told about Sol and how he treated Alex, she insisted on helping Alex deal with him by going with him to the elderly home on
page 66–67. Laurie always made sure her best friend Alex was on the right path. Laurie was a really good influence in Alex's life after one stupid thing
she didn't want him to do another, on page 65–68 Laurie created a plan to help Alex, she convinced Alex's mom that she would take Alex on a bus and
come with him to the nursing home this would keep him out of trouble and help him out with getting extra hours in community service. Also when
lecturing Alex she said "Why didn't you call me on Friday night if you were planning on to do something so half–witted" this shows that Laurie
would've tried to convince Alex out of his choice and try to tell him that it's wrong if he did call. Laurie is just a small girl who's not scared of
anything. She helped her friend from the teasing of a high school jock and coming with him to deal with a grumpy elderly. She showed that she can
help others by helping her friend Alex with his problems. Laurie is really attached to Alex, she acts like a moral compass for him, separating the
wrong from the good. Laurie's decisions in the book always benefitted Alex in doing the right thing and always aimed towards keeping
