                                                                SPECIALIZATION IN SEXUAL
                                                                  OFFENDERTREATMENT

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field; Arizona Licensed as a
Counselor or Social Worker; plus minimum of two years experience. Intensive interest in helping
people; ability to understand and utilize the Holistic and Humanistic approach in treatment and
counseling members. Background in Sexual Offender treatment or willingness to train intensively in
Sexual Offender treatment.

Job Requirements:

Conduct Individual, Group and Family Therapy in an office setting or in the community when
indicated. Perform and write an in-depth Psycho-Social Assessment and Treatment Plan; and maintain
accurate and complete case files in a timely manner. Comply with all RBHA or contract paperwork
requirements. Use 3-4 treatment modalities, such as Reality Therapy, Rational-Emotive Therapy,
Hypnotherapy, Sexual Offender treatment education and therapy etc. Apply evidence-based modalities
whenever possible and productive. Conduct crisis intervention and counseling, when needed.
Provide services that are sensitive to the various cultural groups in the area and the social problems
encountered. Maintain knowledge of community resources, and strong linkages; work closely with
Probation/Parole, Law Enforcement, Child Protective Services, etc. Commitment to continue
development in knowledge and expertise of treating sexual offenders and related issues, such as
substance abuse. Work together with a treatment team of professionals, to review cases and
provide/accept clinical input. Supervise and direct case manager, as part of the treatment team.
Actively participate on agency Performance Improvement Team.
Must be a self-starter, organized, motivated and enthusiastic. Position is paid per billable
