Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Radioactive break out in an undercover corporation that
specialises in making an antidote to fight of any virus in the
future that increases muscle strength. Instead the antidote
they make turns out to be a virus it self that increases
strength and causes mutation
The zombie out break is released when 2 undercover
scientists sent by another agenise go into the corporation
building and get infected releasing the virus
Survivors have to get to a non-quarantine area

Scavenge for usable equipment/supply’s
Stumble across and old hunting cabinet or army base where
they acquire a set of weapons and ammo that they use to
fend off the zombies.

A psycho killer kills every one in a small village.
A group of 4-5 collage students go to a small village for a small holiday. After the
first night they begin to discover that the population of the village is getting
smaller.
Two of the student wonder of and end up lost they then find an old building,
which they enter to look for help they stumble across the basement, which they
go into to look for the owner. They start to find blood and pictures of dead
people on the wall.
