What Should You Do First? Decide what kind of job that you want Decide what major that you need to do that (career websites and Advising and Counseling Center) Find 3 or 4 schools to apply to including a dream and a safety net school
How do you Transfer? Start researching early!  Plan well! Know the general education requirements and prerequisites for your dream school GPA Get involved, volunteer, etc.

When Should You Apply? Some schools only accept junior status (90) transferable credits—especially California! November 30 th-- California (UC/some CSU) February 15 th— UW  January 31 st  –WSU—but earlier for scholarships Feb 1 st— Indiana U, USC, UW-Madison, UT Austin March 1 st —Seattle U, Purdue, U of Minnesota March 15 th —University of Oregon April 1 st  –WWU and CWU
What do you need to apply? Online application English Proficiency TOEFL ( www.ets.org ) Michigan test (UW) HS Transcripts SCC/all college transcripts Personal Statement Application fee Bank statement and Financial Agreement
What Next? Attend: UW General Admissions--Fall UW Business—Winter Transfer Fair—Fall Talk to your  faculty  advisor Keep up your GPA! Take the TOEFL early!!  Start writing your statement (edit at least 3 times by different people!) Gather transcripts!
