Sarah crawls under the kitchen table and tells Megan that "the thing" is coming to get her. A scared Sarah scrambles out from under the table and runs away, believing the unnamed thing is after her. Megan remains calm and finishes drinking her coffee, seemingly unaffected by Sarah's warning about the approaching thing.

2. “The Thing”
Scene: INT. Kitchen.
Megan walks into the kitchen, which is brightly lit. She sits
down at the dinner table and places her cup of coffee on the
dinner table. She takes a sip of her coffee and whilst taking
a sip she feels a tug on her leg.
Sarah.
Megan! Megan! Under here, common get under, quickly!
Megan looks down under the table to see Sarah crouched by the
chair opposite her, looking extremely scared. Megan looks
confused however goes down under the table to join Sarah.
Megan.
What are you doing down there?!
Sarah.
It’s coming to get me!
Megan.
Huhh?
Sarah.
The thing, it’s coming to get me!
Megan.
The thing!?
Sarah.
Yes, the thing! I have to go, I have to go, its coming!
Sarah scrambles out from under the table and crawls towards
the door. He then opens the door and runs. Megan looks side to
side, gets out from under the table, feeling very calm. He
sits back down and finishes drinking his coffee
