The Terracotta Army is a collection of over 8,000 life-sized terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of China, which were constructed starting in 210 BC and discovered in 1974. The figures consisted of soldiers, as well as 130 chariots pulled by horses and 150 cavalry horses, with some figures even retaining traces of paint in red and yellow.
