Stephen Shore is an American photographer known for his pioneering use of color photography and images taken on road trips across the US in the 1970s. He has published over 25 books of his work and was the first living photographer to have a solo exhibition at the Met since Alfred Stieglitz. Edward Steichen was a pioneering American photographer and director of photography at MoMA who experimented with color techniques and was frequently published in Camera Work. Masahisa Fukase was a celebrated Japanese photographer known for intimate images of his family life and visits to his parents' photo studio, as well as his acclaimed book Karasu.
