Washington- based think thank.
•Soft power, is based on attraction, arising from the positive appeal of
a country’s culture, political ideals, and policies—as well as from a
vibrant, independent civil society.
•China use visas, grants, investment and culture to purse its interest.
REASON FOR CLAIM.
•China has punished Norway for awarding Nobel Peace Prize to a
Chinese Pro-democracy activist.
•Funding Political Parties in Australia, New Zealand and part of
European Countries.
•Germany’s spy agency accused China for using social media to
contact 10,000 German including government servants, law maker in
spreading its propaganda.
•Linkage of Political parties member and member of the House of
Australia.
•Australian writer withdrew its book called silent invader due to fear of
China soft power.
CHINA GROWING POWER IN WEST
China Radio International backing 33 radio stations in 14 countries
including Australia and America. These positive news about China in
English, Chinese, Italian, Thai and Turkish.
Dalian Wanda, a Chinese property firm owns a Hollywood Studio as well as
two cinema chain.
In Australia Mr Huang, a Chinese
Businessman donated almost $2m AD to
launch Australia-China Relation Institute,
a think thank in Sydney.
