5. San Patricios fought in every battle except Chapultepec. Palo Alto, Resaca de la Palma, Monterrey, Buena Vista, Veracruz, Puebla, Churubusco. They were decorated for valor at Buena Vista, and captured at the surrender of Churubusco.
