When we talk about important people in the Bible, names like Moses, David, or Peter might come to mind. But one of the most important figures in the Christian faith—after Jesus Himself—is the Apostle Paul.
Why is Paul so important?
• He wrote 13 books of the New Testament—more than any other person.
• He helped spread the Gospel beyond the Jewish people to the Gentile world, including Europe and Asia.
• He was a missionary, pastor, church planter, theologian, and example of deep Christian maturity.
• His teachings about grace, salvation, faith, and the Church are foundational to Christian belief today.
Yet what's most powerful is this: Paul wasn’t always a preacher.
He was once the enemy of the Church—a persecutor, a man filled with hatred for Christians.
But God didn’t give up on him. And through his dramatic conversion, we see how God's grace can reach anyone and how even the worst sinner can become the greatest servant.
That’s why today’s message is titled:
“The Pattern of Paul’s Conversion: A Model for Us All”
