PMI has developed the FIT 2000-2, a fitness-for-duty screener that can assess impairment from fatigue, medications, drugs, alcohol, and sleep deprivation in just 30 seconds. The non-invasive test measures involuntary eye reflexes and compares them to an individual's baseline to detect changes in alertness and impairment levels. Considerable validation has been done by leading research organizations, showing the device can reliably spot effects of fatigue, medications, drugs, and alcohol while being inexpensive, non-invasive, and difficult to fake.
