Many people say: dislike Lijiang . Because Lijiang is become too commercial .In my eyes,
Lijiang is still very beaytiful. But what's more important is the familiar song at the front of Huo
tang.

Shine in May, first walking to lijiang ancient city that havsbeen known for long.

Lijiang is rendered colour as "affairs" by so many people.
The single man(left) in front of me waved to me across the river. I wore straw hat and sunglasses,
smile and nod to him, only that.

The situation of Lijiang:
Lijiang is located in between Yunnan-guizhou plateau that in northwest of yunnan province and
Qinghai-tibet plateau. Lijiang is known as “the big four ancient city that are preserved
completely” with Sichuan LangZhong, Shanxi pingyao and Anhui Hexian.Lijiang is a place many
nations live in, and is mainly based on Nakhi, Yi nationality and Lisu Li-Su Lisaw.

Autumn is the most beautiful season in Lijiang. Sky in autumn prime, colorful trees and flowers
are set against the Jade dragon snow mountain in the distance.This is such a lovely scenery.

Small bridge, running water, people and house.. Flowing streams from the snow-capped
mountains that are melting, it’ s so cool and refreshing. Summer and Autumn are the best suitable
seasons for tourist, because temperature is appropriate.

I abided Xishuangbana for a month, and abilded Dali for ten days. I stay in Yunnan for
more than a month, and my face is tanned,but it is no need to worry at all.

Lijiang: The dongba culture of Nakhi resounded throughout world, cause the world's interest and
concern, and also is a hot spot of tourists who want go to Lijiang for journey and exploration. In fact,
dongba culture is a religious culture.

Dongba culture has many valuable crystallization, these includes dongba paper. Dongba paper has keep
the tradition of handmade now.

The first, they collect the bark of certain plants, and boilout about 70 or 80 hours with other raw materials.
Next, it’s need to go through some process like precipitation, molding and sun-cure. It will be a finished
product after 3 months.

Because dongba paper is expensive, so the circulation of dongba paper is difficult. But any other paper is
can not to be compare with dongba paper, because dongba paper has mystery.

The books that use dongba paper are not easy to decay, handwriting such as new. Because the bark as
raw materials contains poisonous , don’t worry, dongba paper is not harmful for people, because it
already remove the toxicity by some process, but any bug or mycete can not live on dongba paper. This
just makes the myth of dongba paper.

Lijiang is full of dongba culture everywhere.

Dongba writing is a drawing hieroglyphs that has merits both ideographic and table sound.
It’s a original drawing hieroglyphs. Dongba writing is more original than oracle, which is
depend on the development of words form. In fact, Dongba writing is early form of text
origin. In the early, the ancients record symbol image on the wood or stone. And the
ancients invented paper, so they record symbol image on the paper, which is become a
classic of dongba writing. Because only dongba master this text, so it’s named dongba
writing. Dongba writing has only 1400 words, but the words are very rich. Dongba writing
can fully express exquisite emotions, can narrative and illustrate something complicated,
and can writing poetry or article, so we called dongba writing is the only live hieroglyphs in
the world. There are about 20000 preserved scriptures that be writed down in hieroglyph.
The content of scriptures is rich, containing philosophy, history, astronomical, religious,
witch doctor, folk, literature and art. In the period of Nakhi ancient society, these scriptures
are like as encyclopedia.
