MAD TV is a Greek TV channel targeted at 15-24 year olds that airs a radio station's programming 24/7 with a 50/50 split of Greek and foreign music that is 90% recent pop, electronic, R&B, and hip hop hits. The MAD Awards began in 2004 and are held every summer, where Greek singers are nominated and voted on based on the popularity of their songs.
