2. Location one: The park
I think because I am shooting my project in
winter it would be a waste not to include some
of the beautiful autumn leaves left on the floor
and the thin tree’s with the warm sunset shining
through the branches. For this reason I want to
make one of my locations a park that is situated
in my local town. It is a massive woodland area
so I am sure that I can capture many shots
without being disturbed and it should be
different from the normal school setting.
3. Location 2: Ice skating?
I think having something fun and playful in the
video will help the video as it makes it more
interesting to watch. To see someone having fun
makes you happy and so including something
like this sounds perfect. I have chosen ice
skating because it fits in with the time of year
and its not something you will see everyday.
4. Location 3: a field with headlights/fire
I really want to divert back to nature in the final
scenes as I think filming the entire video outside
conforms to the lyrics a lot more than if I filmed
inside. I will add girls into the end all I need to
do is find a suitable area to surround the boys
with headlights so they can dance around and
have a good laugh, this will mean the lighting is
perfect for my video and
5. Location 4: Inside the car
My fourth location inside the car is very ironic as it’s a
convertible therefore technically it will be outside in a
car…
Having this shot makes the whole video seem a bit more
country and seeing as my video is alternative rock they
have a lot more of their videos outside having fun instead
of being stuck in a studio the entire time. Because they
are classic cars it also makes the shot seem more thought
out and exciting as apposed to having 3 Toyota's for the
boys to dance around. It just makes the whole mise-en-
scene seem more 1960’s Hollywood.
