Kobe Bryant was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in 1996 but was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. He won his first NBA title with the Lakers in 2000 after they defeated the Indiana Pacers. Throughout his career, Kobe was selected to 17 All-Star games and won the All-Star MVP award four times. He is remembered for his 81-point performance against the Toronto Raptors, the second highest scoring performance in NBA history. Kobe helped the Lakers win three consecutive NBA Finals from 2000 to 2002. He won his fifth and final NBA championship with the Lakers in 2010 before retiring.
