The Inuit people, also known as Eskimos, are an indigenous group that populates the arctic area. They are known to be resourceful and have adopted behavioral rules like killing animals being acceptable but killing humans not, leading to a generally peaceful community. The Inuit had no formal legal system but addressed problems through elders and leaders. As a peaceful society, they experienced no particularly large conflicts.
