This chapter follows Violet Hues and her family after graduating college. Violet moves back home with her parents and grandmother. She gets married to Hobart Wilson and they have three children - Sapphire, Jade, and Onyx. Violet and Hobart work to expand Hobart's businesses. Over time, Coral and Ericka pass away. Sapphire, Jade, and Onyx all age into children. Unexpectedly, Hobart gets pregnant by aliens and gives birth to a green-skinned baby boy named Peridot. By the end of the chapter, Violet and Hobart have become elders, leaving Roxy to choose the next generation's heir.

1. Chapter Fifteen
“She is More Precious Than Jewels”

2. Welcome back to The Hues Legacy, a joint legacy between me,
Haleigh/meadowthayer, and Roxanne/Taube.
In case you were curious, the title is from Proverbs 3:15 from the ESV
translation. You’ll understand why I chose it as you read the chapter.
In the last chapter you saw our heiress, Violet, and her brother and sister
go through college. You also saw an update on the spares.
In this chapter, you’ll see how Violet’s life back home is going.
And without further adieu…

3. The first order of business, was to move Violet back
in with her parents and her grandma Ericka.
Coral was very pleased at her daughter’s arrival
back home.

4. If you remember, when I had the family last I got
super excited when Coral was born with the family
eyes, and so I had redone the living room with a
coral color. Well, now that I have the family back,
I have decided to pain the exterior of the house
coral as well!
(To be honest, I had it painted purple first, but I liked the coral a
lot, it looked perkier.)

5. Now that it’s day time, I had Violet invite her fiancé Hobart Wilson over and ask
him to move in. No idea why he’s still wearing his cap and gown.
After sending him to the mirror though, he’s now looking very handsome.

6. Right as I was getting ready to have the wedding
for Hobart and Violet, the grim reaper came to
take Slate away to doggy heaven.

7. Remember how we were all hoping
Bisque would be a lot nicer on my
computer than he was on Roxy’s?
Well, he’s not. Right after Slate died,
he decided to chase Violet around the
back porch. Poor girl.

8. Despite the death of Slate and Bisque
chasing our bride around the patio,
Hobart and Violet had a beautiful
wedding by the family pond.

9. So, Ericka and Hobart don’t get along. At all. I’m
constantly having to keep an eye on these two
otherwise they’re attacking each other and brawling in
the middle of the house. It’s quite annoying really.
As bad as it sounds, thankfully Ericka will be dying soon
and I won’t have to deal with it anymore.

10. Violet is pregnant! Generation six is finally on the
way! I can’t believe we’re already this far into the
legacy. I mean, I know we’ve had the legacy
going on for a while but it just doesn’t seem like it’s
been this many generations already.

11. I was hoping Ericka would live to see her great-
grandbaby born, but unfortunately it looks like
Amethyst’s baby is the only great-grandchild she’ll
live to see.
As a side note, I thought this was funny: Ericka
rolled the want to ‘hula dance’ right before she
died.

12. Everyone in the house was torn up about the loss
of Ericka, except for Bart of course. As you can
see, he’s smiling about the demise of his wife’s
Grandmother.

13. Coral deals with her grief of losing her mother, by
focusing on the joy of meeting her grandbaby.

14. Looks like we won’t be waiting much longer to
meet the first baby of generation six! Please let
them have the eyes!

15. Yay! Baby girl Sapphire was born with brown hair
and the family eyes!

16. This was too cute of a picture to not include in the
chapter. Violet is a really great Mom, she rushes
to Sapphire’s crib every time she cries.

17. Violet has completed her first lifetime want of
becoming Chief of Staff. Now, Violet wants to
become Education Minister.

18. Tonight it’s time for Chris and Coral to become elders!
They aged phenomenally! I think Coral is one of the most beautiful elders I’ve
ever had in my game.

19. The family now has an outdoor bathtub to bathe
the dogs in. Why you might ask? Because the
really cute custom shower/tub combo we have in
the house doesn’t have an option to wash the
dogs and everyone has been walking around
talking about how disgusting the dogs smell.

20. Tonight is baby Sapphire’s birthday!
She aged into an absolutely STUNNING
toddler. Not that I had any doubts, her
family is made up of a bunch of
gorgeous people. Especially now that
we got rid of the huge nose we
somehow got from our beautiful
founder.

21. Meet Dottie the miniature Dalmatian.
Why miniature you ask? Because in TS2 when you
breed a large dog with a small dog, all the
puppies become clones of their mother.

22. Grandpa Chris loves playing with Sapphire. He
tickles her so much she impales herself with her
arm.

23. Am I the only one that thinks that if a parent really looked as bored as Sim
parents do when they potty train their children that it would be very
discouraging? I mean, nothing about this situation would make me want to
learn to use the potty.

24. “Come on, come to Grandma. You’re doing
great Sapphire!”
See, that’s more like it. Coral’s very encouraging.

25. “I…*puke*…hate…*puke*…morning
sickness...*puke*”
Despite a nausea free first pregnancy, Violet’s
second pregnancy is filled with morning sickness.

26. Sapphire is so freaking adorable! I can’t wait to
see what her baby brother(s) or sister(s) look like.

27. Coral and Chris are still a loving couple.
I randomly find them both relaxing
together on the bed and when I do, I
always have them woohoo.
Most recently, they got out of bed to
dance after sharing a woohoo
together.

28. If the morning sickness wasn’t proof enough, Violet
is now showing signs of baby number two.

29. As you can see, both Coral and Chris are very
attentive Grandparents.

30. I love that so far, every generation of
Hues has made it a habit to cuddle
outside. It’s such a cool thing to have it
continue.

31. As Violet’s belly gets bigger, the more excited I
get! I hope the next baby has the Hues eyes as
well!

32. Violet wasn’t the only one pregnant
though. Dottie and Bisque are having
their first litter of puppies!
It’s only one puppy this time though, a
boy pup named Bronze.

33. It’s time for Sapphire to grow up again already! And boy is she pretty!
I have a feeling it’s going to be really hard to pick and heir this generation.

34. The morning after Sapphire’s birthday,
Violet goes into labor with baby
number two!
Meet baby girl Jade! Jade looks
identical to her sister right now with
brown hair and the Hues eyes.

35. I had debated about this for a while, but I have
finally decided to give Hobart’s lifetime want a
shot! In another joint legacy I’m part of, one of
the other writers has been attempting this and it’s
made me want to try to. So this is business number
one: Just Flowers and More – a flower shop in
Bluewater Villlage.

36. We have Coral reluctantly working the cash
register.
Violet is responsible for making flower
arrangements to sell.
And since it’s his business, Hobart is
responsible for sales.
After one day, the business was able to get
to rank one! I didn’t play the business too
long though at first because I was short on
time.

37. At home, Lilly is making it habitual to scare poor
little Sapphire.

38. Tonight is little Jade’s birthday!
Wowza! She’s gorgeous too, and she’s
not a clone of her big sister so that’s
definitely a plus! It’s definitely going to
be a tough decision for heir and might
end up coming down to lifetime want
and spouse choice again.

39. Surprise! Violet is pregnant for the third and final
time! Roxy and I both like having several choice
for heir/ess so I decided to let Violet have one
more baby.

40. Sapphire has maxed out all of her skills! Now she
can spend the rest of her childhood having fun
and helping out with the family businesses when
she becomes a teenager.

41. “Hi my little Grandson, I can’t wait to meet you!”
“Dad, how do you know it’s a boy?”
“Well, I don’t. But your husband and I are both
hoping it’s a boy since we’re surrounding by all
you women!”

42. Sapphire is such a fantastic big sister
and she just loves spending time with
Jade. I love when my Sim siblings have
good relationships!

43. Bronze is now an adult dog! He didn’t
get very many of Dottie’s markings but
if you look at his ear very closely you’ll
see some of the dots. I think he’s
adorable though!

44. I added a second level to Just Flowers and More.
I tried to keep it looking relatively the same just
because I really liked the way it looked originally.

45. I decided I wanted a small break from the flower
shop and had Hobart purchase a second
community lot – The Donut Shop!

46. After coming back home from The Donut Shop, Violet goes into labor with her
last baby! And it’s a baby boy with brown hair but unfortunately he doesn’t
have the eyes. His name is Onyx.

47. In a legacy, I feel like babies are
always being born and there’s always
a birthday!
Tonight little Jade is becoming a child!
She aged up wonderfully too, she’s
very cute. It’s going to be a touch
choice for Roxy and I.

48. I love how both girls look different but still look like
sisters. They’re both adorable, and I’ll be happy
with either of them being our generation six
heiress.

49. Violet has reached the top of another career
track, her new lifetime want is now to become
World Class Ballerina.

50. Time for another birthday! Tonight, little
Onyx is become a toddler!
He’s so cute, it’s a shame he’s not
eligible for heir.
He has a personality of 6/5/8/4/3.
I really liked the hat on him, I’ve never
used it and I just thought he looked
really cute with it.

51. Hobart loves having a little boy in the
house and made sure that he was the
one to teach his son to walk.
I know I’ve said this a million times, but I
think the activity table is one of my
favorite in game items since it lets
children and toddler socialize.

52. After a few hours of socializing with her
little sister and brother on the activity
table, it was time for Sapphire’s
birthday! I can’t believe the first child
of this generation is already going to
be a teenager!
She’s absolutely beautiful!
Sapphire rolled a primary aspiration of
romance and secondary aspiration of
grilled cheese.

53. Welcome to Hobart’s Poker Lounge! Hobart’s third business. Of course, the
other two aren’t level 10 yet but that’s okay.
This one reached level 10 in about 2 or 3 days. Sims just love poker tables.

54. Sapphire is a wonderful big sister and constantly
tends to every cry or want that Onyx has.

55. Violet has now received a gold flower arranging
badge, this will come in handy with Hobart’s
businesses.

56. Miss Sapphire is now an overachiever! Way to go
girl!

57. Another birthday in the Hues house
tonight!
Our youngest is becoming a child,
which means this generation is almost
complete!
Onyx aged wonderfully. He’s very
handsome, I’m still sad that he isn’t
eligible for heir.

58. Well hello there Neon, how are you doing?
“Where’s my bed? Why did these idiots get rid of my
bed?!”
It was just something that happened when we
experienced passing the family on in the first generation.
I’m sorry.
“HMMMPF.”

59. NO. NO. NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. HOBART GET BACK
HERE. YOU MAY NOT HAVE AN ALIEN BABY. I DID
NOT AUTHORIZE THIS!

60. I love the diversity of genetics in this generation!

61. Since Hobart is pregnant, he won’t be able to go
work on his businesses so I decided to go ahead
and use an item to reroll his lifetime want. He now
wants to become Chief of Staff.

62. “I love the construction of your home, Mrs. Hues.”
“Thank you, it’s been in our family for
generations.”
“It’s lovely, and so is this lobster. I would love for
your children to attend my school.”

63. Hobart is now showing signs of his pregnancy.

64. Violet had rolled the want to be a
witch, and it was there for a while so I
decided to let her fill that want. Of
course, the only friend she had that
was a witch was an Atrociously Evil
witch, so that’s what she became.

65. Whatcha doing Jade?
“Looking for the things that kidnapped Daddy.
They made him pregnant and I don’t want Daddy
to have a baby without Mommy.”

66. On the bright side, Hobart got my favorite male
maternity wear. I always think the alien maternity
outfit is fitting.

67. Of course, before the new baby can
be born we have another birthday in
the house!
Jade has become a teenager, and oh
my is she stunning!
She rolled a primary aspiration of
knowledge with a secondary aspiration
of popularity.

68. The next morning, Hobart went into labor with his alien baby.
He gave birth to a baby boy named Peridot. I decided to go ahead and keep
his name to go along with his half-siblings. Peridot is green too so I figured it was
fitting with his green skin.

69. Violet has achieved another lifetime want, now
she wants to become Media Magnate.

70. Okay so I have to say I love that witch sims can fly
to work. Oh, and as you can see, Violet has been
studying good magic and is now a good witch.

71. Time for Peridot’s birthday! His father
wasn’t home so his “Grandmother”
brought him to the cake.
He’s actually rather cute for having the
alien cheeks and big eyes. I think he’ll
grow into his genetics more.
He has a personality of 1/6/10/10/8.

72. Not much happened in the house after
Peridot became a toddler and soon it’s
time for Onyx to become a teenager!
He aged into a handsome young man.
He rolled family and knowledge as his
aspirations.
Normally, this is where I’d pass on the
family but with Peridot’s next birthday
so soon and with Hobart and Violet
being so close to their lifetime wants I
decided to wait until Hobart was
permaplat.

73. I don’t know where her sparkles are,
but Violet has mastered the good
magic and is Infallibly Good!
Everyone in the house rolled a want for
Violet to be cured of witchiness,
including Violet herself, and since I
wasn’t sure what would happen upon
sending her over to Roxy as a witch I
decided to cure her.
She got a bad memory from it though.

74. Another lifetime want complete for Violet! Next
she wants to be Hand of Poseidon.

75. Unfortunately the grim reaper came for
Coral on baby Peridot’s birthday!
Coincidentally she died outside the
graveyard where her grave was
placed shortly after she passed.
*Also for some reason our cofounder’s
tombstone has mysteriously disappeared.
Hmm. This bothers me.

76. After everyone had some time to
mourn the loss of Coral, Peridot was
finally brought to his birthday cake to
become a child!
He’s actually super cute. I love him!

77. The next morning, Eggshell was taken by the grim
reaper. It’s been a sad time in the Hues house.

78. Hobart has FINALLY reached the top of the
medical career and completed a lifetime want.

79. Just in time too, because tonight is Hobart and Violet’s elder birthdays!
They aged into elegant elders! Violet decided to pin her hair back in a french
braid with a low bun. She decided it was more elegant than her younger pig
tails look.

80. And that’s the end of this generation! Who will
Roxy and I pick for heiress?

81. That concludes this chapter, and my turn! I hope that you enjoyed it
and I apologize that the writing wasn’t my best. It’s been quite a while
since I’ve played, and so I really wanted to get a chapter out! So I
know my writing wasn’t the best, but I’m gonna work on getting some
better written chapters out soon!
I can’t wait to see where Roxy takes this family next!
