Reader Highlights
When a user selects a word
or set of words, they are
given a prompt to select one
of 6 different functions –
note, highlight, define,
search, copy or share.
Creating a Note
A user is able to create a
note or a summary based on
a section of a chapter, a
whole chapter or a whole
book.

While they are creating the
note, they can see what
others have contributed to
add to theirs.

 They can also edit
publishing settings and
share to Facebook and
Twitter.
Viewing Profiles
At any point in the
experience, a user can click
on a users image or name
and view options to see
their full profile or send
them a quick message.
Viewing Community Notes
Notes can be toggled on or
off to display on the right
side of the book. The notes
will follow along with where
a user is in the book or they
can view them separately.
Notes are prioritized by their
positive popularity and
separated by readers and
general community.
Defining a Word
Once selecting ‘Define” the
word will automatically be
defined by a third-party
source.

The user will also be
presented with options to
search the word on Google
or Wikipedia.
Book Wall
All books have a Wall where
users can add comments to
a stream of conversation
around the book.

Here users can discuss
anything related or
unrelated to the book.

This area allows for the
notes to focus around
socializing.

accessible from the “More”
tab.

Readers Clubs on Copia that

can be seen and accessed

One can also see what other

Notebook
A user can create a
notebook, which is a
collection of individual notes
and/or other content. Once
created, the notebook can
be edited, exported to a
document, searched in
detail or printed in a
formatted view.
