This document discusses the Spirit of Fear of the Lord. It begins by defining the Fear of the Lord as having a dread of sinning and offending God. It then contrasts this holy fear with unholy, demonic fear that is opposed to faith. Unholy fear binds people, but perfect love from God casts out fear. The document examines what the Bible says about developing a Fear of the Lord through wisdom, obedience, and reverence for God and authorities. It emphasizes the need for transformation from irreverence to practicing reverence in how we act and live.

Ephesians 1:3 says "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places..." But, what are these blessings and what does it mean?

Knowledge makes people arrogant. This concept seems to be completely different from the world’s thinking. If I learn more, then I should know the breadth of knowledge. I should be like a learned person, and I should be more humble. But why the Bible said so, if this is a truth that violates the rules of the world. In this chapter, let us carefully look for the truth of the Bible for detail analysis.
The three persons involved in the act of prophesying. God, the giver of the word. The person receiving from God to transmit the word. The final receiver.

This hope is still pending in our time, so we still have opportunity to practice the race of Faith and be part of the Witnesses/Testifiers/Martyrs on the marble of the Faith Hall of Fame.
This glorious hope requires that we use Grace to LAY-OFF and BRACE-UP for our relay lap determined that the relay labours of our heroes past so far must not be in vain, and that we PRESS-ON without wearying and LOOK-UNTO Christ without wavering or wandering.
Have you heard someone telling you to forget about your past?
You tried and still, memories take you there? Only the blood of Jesus can clean your conscience and your memories.
After the leper is declared clean by the priest, he is now able to enter the camp and into his tent, but first, the marking with the blood and the anointing upon the blood takes place.
Our God has promised that where He sees the Blood, He will save. It is important to know that we can daily apply the Blood of the Lamb of God upon ourselves and our household.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

3. THE SPIRIT OF FEAR OF THE
LORD
LEARNING TO PROPHESY
APRIL 29, 2020
4. The Spirit of Fear of the Lord
Also known as
The Spirit of reverence,
The Fear of [Offending] the Lord
Fear of the Lord – have a dread of sin and fear of offending God
6. Unholy fear is destructive
and must be cast out and replaced by Faith
• There is type of fear that
dominates many people's
lives.
• Many people suffer from
an unholy, demonic fear.
• Demonic fear can only be cast
out by filling our heart with the
Father's love.
• Unholy fear if not controlled
will bind a person in chains.
• It keeps you from having
relationships or receiving love
• It makes you think of your
limitations, rejection,
abandonment, bad opinions of
other people, physical danger.
• It is limiting your personality
and the capacity to succeed.
• It creates a negative circle that
must be broken in order to
become that person the Lord
call you to be.
7. •1 John 4:18 (NKJV)
•18 There is no fear in love;
but perfect love casts out fear,
because fear involves torment.
But he who fears has not been made
perfect in love.
9. • The word “fear” in Isaiah 11 means to have a holyfear and reverence for the
Lord.
• The Holy Spirit manifests Himself in us giving us the holy fear and
reverence for the Lord. It is a holy awe. It is a knowing of His
unlimited power, but also of His love.
• The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord gives us a holy fear and
reverence that brings delight to our hearts,.
• We can come to our father without any fear because we are
covered by the blood of the Lamb of God.
10. • When we are filled with the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord,
things change drastically in our lives:
• We will promptly obey Him, just because He speaks.
• We will constantly be in awe, seeking Him, because His
beauty and holiness is so radiant causing us to look for
powerful encounters with Him.
• We learn to trust in Him and will seek His instructions
accepting His Word as fact in our lives.
11. • So, the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord gives us reverence
toward God that will keep us on the straight and narrow
path. (Matthew 7:14)
• When the Holy Spirit teaches us the fear of the Lord,
we reverence Him,
stand in awe of Him,
fear Him in a holy way, and
delight in Him, all at the same time.
13. Psalm 111:7-10 (NKJV)
• The works of His hands are verity[b] and justice;
All His precepts are sure.
8 They stand fast forever and ever,
And are done in truth and uprightness.
9 He has sent redemption to His people;
He has commanded His covenant forever:
Holy and awesome is His name.
• 10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
A good understanding have all those who do His
commandments.
His praise endures forever.
14. 1 Samuel 12:18
(NKJV)
18 So Samuel called
to the LORD,
and the LORD sent
thunder and rain
that day; and all
the people greatly
feared the LORD and
Samuel.
21. 2 Corinthians 5:9-11 (NKJV)
• Judgment Seat of Christ
• 9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or
absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all
appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one
may receive the things done in the body, according to
what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing,
therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but
we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known
in your consciences.
22. • 1 Corinthians 11:20-22 (NKJV)
• 20 Therefore when you come together in one place, it is
not to eat the Lord’s Supper. 21 For in eating, each one
takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry
and another is drunk. 22 What! Do you not have houses
to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of
God and shame [a]those who have nothing? What shall I
say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not
praise you.
23. • 1 Corinthians 5:1 (NKJV)
• Immorality Defiles the Church
• 5 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality
among you, and such sexual immorality as is not
even [a]named among the Gentiles—that a man has his
father’s wife!
24. • 1 Corinthians 3:3-4 (NKJV)
• 3 for you are still carnal. For
where there are envy, strife,
and divisions among you,
are you not carnal
and [a]behaving
like mere men? 4 For when
one says, “I am of Paul,” and
another, “I am of Apollos,”
are you not carnal?
• Carnality is very
dangerous
26. Submit to God
• 1 Peter 5:5-6 (NKJV)
• Submit to God, Resist the Devil
• 5 Likewise you younger people, submit
yourselves to your elders. Yes, all
of you be submissive to one another, and
be clothed with humility, for
• “God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”
• 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the
mighty hand of God, that He may exalt
you in due time,
27. • Proverbs 1:7 (NKJV)
• 7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of
knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
28. • Psalm 34:11 (NKJV)
• 11 Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
29. • Isaiah 33:5-6 (NKJV)
• 5 The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high;
He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
6 Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your
times,
And the strength of salvation;
The fear of the LORD is His treasure.
30. John 20:19-23 (NKJV)
• 19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the
week, when the doors were shut where the disciples
were [a]assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and
stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with
you.” 20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands
and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the
Lord.
• 21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father
has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this,
He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy
Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them;
if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
32. • Irreverence is à la mode.
• It speaks loud, it is in our actions, looks, disobedience to
civil authorities, church authorities, and the Word of
God.
• Our general way of life is built on disrespect for tradition
and satisfying our own needs.
• Respect for family is continually in decadence.
33. • People coming late and searching for a good seat.
• Responding to an altar call when you are not supposed
to.
• Coming to look for business.
• Comin looking for an spouse.
34. • But we were made for Reverence
• Scripture is full of admonitions about the pursuit of
reverence.
• We, as God’s chosen, as His children, must be aware of
our words and our actions.
• When we do harm to the Body by lying, cheating,
ignoring, choosing the immoral, participating in evil, we
are separating ourselves from God’s Love.
35. • Practicing Reverence:
• Be punctual and prepared.
• Start your service on time and participate with the rest
of the congregation.
• Set a tone of reverence.
• Dress up for church.
• Use physical acts of reverence.
