This document discusses the promise and fulfillment of the Holy Spirit according to scripture. It explains that all believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit upon believing, but being filled with the Spirit involves yielding control to allow Him to influence one's life. Being filled can be repeated as needed and is maintained by walking wisely in the Spirit through redeeming one's time for God, speaking to others, giving thanks, and submitting to others in fear of God. Constant filling requires sacrificing self-control and investing time in spiritual growth. The seven spirits of God - wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, fear of the Lord, and the Spirit of the Lord - provide balance and strength when functioning in a believer's life.
Taking care of your soul. A transformation of our conscience, reason, imagination, mind, emotions, choice and will is absolutely necessary to be aligned with the renewed Spirit that is already in us. In order to attain this, the Holy Spirit needs to be in control, bringing a complete renewal.

Knowing the gates of our body. These gates are connected to the gates of our soul. Remember the body is not in direct contact with the spirit but with the soul. The soul is in contact with the spirit and with the body, in this way, the soul is the connector between spirit and soul.
Tomorrow we are starting a new series of study:
“The New Man” is a seminar that will focus on the spirit of man, its soul and its body.
We will learn the properties of each one of these three parts of man.
Our spirit is called to be the ruling part of us, actually, our spirit is the main part of our being, and is the place where the spirit of God dwells in.
We meet in Room #3 at CTF Toronto Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. I invite you to come and participate with us in this discovery of how to let our spirit become the ruler of our life.
There are gateways that connect the Holy Spirit with our spirit; the spirit with the soul and the soul with the body and the body with the external world. Do you know them?
When the Lord gave us His Spirit, He gave us fully and without reserve, If you are a believer in The Lord Jesus Christ, you have it as it is your right and inheritance.
We know the dictionary definition of worship (a feeling, or devotion to a deity), and we have read John 4:24, "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth"; but, what does the Bible teach us about the subject of worship? This is a series of lessons that gets to the heart of worship and what it really means for Christians.
Some notes from recent teaching sessions - they are aimed at giving more of a background / preparatory idea about how a person might move into a position to be "anointed" by God.
Ephesians 1:3 says "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places..." But, what are these blessings and what does it mean?

The second baptism that God has for His children is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This is the 5th foundation stone in this teaching series. How does God display His power in your life? Which gift of the Holy Spirit have you received?
A264 emotion, People, feel, the spirit of the lord, corruptfranktsao4
Today we are going to talk about feelings, because emotionally rich situations are often confused with being filled with the Holy Spirit. So today we will analyze feelings from the perspective of the world, and we will also mention what is filled with the Holy Spirit from the history of the Bible. What kind of phenomenon is there, and why God descended on people? At the same time, because we have the Bible today, we can better distinguish what is rich in emotion and what is filled with the Holy Spirit. The criteria we can clearly judge are: Whether or not the word of God is in it, that is our proof.

Renewed in Grace
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

2. The Promise of the Holy Spirit
• John 7:37-38 (NKJV)
• 37 On the last day, that
great day of the feast,Jesus
stood and cried out,
saying, “If anyone thirsts,
let him come to Me and
drink. 38 He who believes in
Me, as the Scripture has
said, out of his heart will
flow rivers of living water.”
• Thirst – true desire, to long for.
• Come to me - repentance of all
known sin in your life.
• Drink - receive God’s gift of the
Holy Spirit to those who obey
Him .
• He who believes in me - acting
on the basis of faith in the Word
of God
3. Luke 24:49 (NKJV)
49 Behold, I send the Promise
of My Father upon you; but
tarry in the city [a]of
Jerusalem until you are
endued with power from on
high.”
Acts 1:8 New (NKJV) 8 But
you shall receive
power when the Holy Spirit
has come upon you; and you
shall be [a]witnesses to Me in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea
and Samaria, and to the end
of the earth.”
• John 14:16-18 (NKJV)
• 16 And I will pray the Father,
and He will give you
another [a]Helper, that He
may abide with you
forever— 17 the Spirit of
truth, whom the world
cannot receive, because it
neither sees Him nor knows
Him; but you know Him, for
He dwells with you and will
be in you. 18 I will not leave
you orphans; I will come to
you.
5. All believers are SEALED with the
Holy Spirit when they believe.
• Ephesians 1:13 (NKJV)
• 13 In Him you
also trusted, after you
heard the word of truth, the
gospel of your salvation; in
whom also, having
believed, you were sealed
with the Holy Spirit of
promise,
• Ephesians 4:30 (NKJV)
• 30 And do not grieve the
Holy Spirit of God, by whom
you were sealed for the day
of redemption.
6. What does it mean to be sealed with the Holy
Spirit?
• A seal is a mark that can be placed on a letter, a contract, or any legal
document.
• It shows that what was in the letter came from the person whose seal
was on the outside.
• In old times, cattle and even slaves were branded with a seal to show
whom they belonged.
• This mark would deter people from stealing them because they had
the seal upon them.
• Nazis sealed Jewish prisoners with numbers.
8. FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
• What does it mean ?
• The disciples spent ten days meeting and praying in
obedience to Jesus command, (Luke 24:49), (John 14:16-
18), (Acts 1:8).
• The Holy Spirit came and baptised them. Following this
baptism, they were “all filled.” (Acts 2:4)
• Paul, in Ephesians 5: 18, to the Ephesians says to be filled
with the Spirit.
9. “filled” in these scriptures, means
“to be influenced by.”
• Acts 2:4 (NKJV)
• 4 And they were all
filled with the Holy
Spirit and began to
speak with other
tongues, as the Spirit
gave them utterance.
• Ephesians 5:18 (NKJV)
• 18 And do not be drunk
with wine, in which is
dissipation; but be filled
with the Spirit,
10. • All believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit when they first believe.
• However, not all believers are filled with the Holy Spirit.
• Being filled with the Holy Spirit depends on surrender, yielding our
control to the Holy Spirit.
• Filling is an experience that can be repeated.
• Filling is a need to be able to walk powerfully doing the tasks that the
Lord has called us to do.
11. • Tongues is not a demonstration of “Filling”
• Being filled by the Holy Spirit is not getting more of Him!
• But is about Him getting more of the believer!
• Many times the disciples “were filled with the Holy Spirit”
• Acts 4:8, 31; 6:3; 7:55, 9:17, 11:24, 13:9, 13:52,
• In this cases there was no mention of tongues being spoken.
12. Losing The Filling of the Holy Spirit
• The work of the Holy Spirit’s ministry to the believer in
regeneration, baptism, indwelling, and sealing, cannot be
lost.
• However, His filling can be lost due to disobedience (sin).
• The filling of the Holy Spirit can be instantly regained by
the confession and repentance of the sin , ad the cleansing
by the blood of Christ.
•
13. Summarising, the “filling of the
Holy Spirit” is not a feeling or an
emotional experience, but rather, is
the yielding (surrendering) of the
believer’s life to the Lord.
15. Ephesians 5:15-21 (NKJV)
Walk in Wisdom
• 15 See then that you walk [a]circumspectly, not as fools but as
wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
• 17Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of
the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is
dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one
another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and
making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks
always for all things to God the Father in the name of our
LordJesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear
of [b]God.
16. • Paul is saying: to walk circumspectly, to be careful as we walk as
children of light - walk circumspectly.
• CIRCUMSPECTLY, adv. Cautiously; with watchfulness every way;
with attention to guard against surprise or danger.
• Definitions fromWebster's American Dictionary of the English
Language, 1828.
17. • Our spiritual eyes have to be open.
• Not to walk in the dark, but in the light.
• If we are going from meeting to meeting, from spiritual
experience in a meeting to another experience, then we are
walking in the dark.
• The experience will not last long..
• You must be walking in the Light!
18. • Redeeming the time,
• Instead of using the time for our own advantage down here
on earth, we as Christians should be buying the time,
redeeming the time.
• That will speak in our favour when we stand before Christ
19. • In the present condition where we are now,The Lord has
giving us the wonderful opportunity to redeem the time.
• How are you redeeming it?
• Invest this time in the Kingdom of God!
20. • Being filled with cost you.
• It may costs you your reputation,
• It may costs you a friendship,
• It may costs you some extra time of resting in the morning,
• It may costs you an hour of social media online in the
evening.
• Whatever it costs you: redeem that time!
• Buy it back! Sell that old thing for the word of God!
21. • Remember:
• Not all Christians are filled with the Spirit.
• To be controlled by the Holy Spirit, it means that we will be
sacrificing our self-control!
23. Isaiah 11:1-2 (NKJV)
• The Reign of Jesse’s Offspring
• 11There shall come forth a [a]Rod from the [b]stem
of Jesse,
And a Branch shall [c]grow out of his roots.
2The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
24. • When all the Seven Spirits of God are functioning on our life, there
will be no confusion, we will be balanced.
• The Spirit of The Lord and the Spirit of Might will give us full strength
and power.
• The Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel and Knowledge will fill
us with the Word of God.
• And the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord will keep us in balance and we
will not be puffed up because of the signs, miracles and wonders that
will follow us as Christians walking in the fulness of the Spirit.
25. • I pray that our God blesses the time that we have invested in studying
this chapter related with the Seven Spirits of God.
• I pray that revelation, continuous revelation be our portion.
• Dear Holy Spirit help us to yield to you, causes us to will and act to do
your holy will in us.
• We thank you Lord for the good purposes that you have for each one
of us.
• Thank you dear Jesus. Amen.
26. • Should we continue next week with the new seminar :
THE POWER OFTHE BLOOD?
• Or you will prefer to have a week rest for the March Break that we did
not have, let me know.
• I will send an invitation to every one, please answer accordingly.
