- 1. MY FARM Area: English as a Second Language (ESL) Key Stage 2, year 3 Webquest by: Sara Laurín (2º de L.Extranjera)
- 2. Introduction Howdyfarmers! Let’s discover the farm animals and the crops we can grow in a farm. Who knows? Maybe, tomorrow you will own your very own farm, and you should be prepared! C’mon, take the bull by the horns!
- 3. Task You are going to choose the animals and crops for your farm working in small groups (4 to 5 people). You have to present a card stock with the animals you breed and the crops you grow in your farm. And then perform a little presentation in class (5 min. aprox). The information about the animals and the crops should be written in cards filled with all the things requested.

- 6. PROCESS Group work: Take a look at the resources given. Choose 5 animals you want to breed in your farm. Choose 5 crops you want to grew in your farm. Then, ask the teacher for the printed cards. Search and fill in the information in the animals and crop’s cards. Glue them to a A3 card stock in two columns (Animals and Crops) Prepare the presentation for the class (5 min. Aprox.) You should explain the information about the animals and the crops and the reasons why you choose this ones (likes, interesting facts, etc) and you also have to talk about how you found the information and how your group work was (organization, behaviour in general) Remember that all the people in the group should talk!
