The billiard ball tree
A tree that grew billiard balls was planted in Goodfood Park to save money on buying balls. However, the balls were dangerous until they ripened and could hatch birds, spit poison, or bite and kill people, potentially charging the planter with murder. Games like lawn billiards without a table and duck pond football, where players risked being pecked by ducks, were played in the park.

The man's house had other issues, including a bedroom ceiling with a large mouth and teeth that tried to bite the homeowner, Terry Blowtorch, while he was in bed.
The beastly haler
A man was prescribed a Buduckinide Dry Powder inhaler but received a "Beastlyhaler" that emitted a horrible stink into his lungs when he used it. The inhaler was meant to contain sulphur gas to keep the medicine pure, but instead contained a stink bomb. While stink bombs were not the intended contents, the gas was meant to purify the steroid powder and prevent the man's lungs from swelling to ten times their size from poisonous powder.
The barbershop
The barber decided to remove a customer's head to make haircutting easier, as cutting hair while the head was still attached would be difficult. While the customer's head had its hair cut, the body had to manage without a head. Once the haircut was finished, the barber reattached the customer's head to his body.

While playing football, one player kicked the ball and it burst open, revealing a baby inside. The footballers were shocked to see a baby hatch from the football, but they later discovered the ball contained "baby seeds" that had grown into a human. One player brought the baby to a human depot to be fostered by a suitable family. The football was then incinerated and turned into compost to grow new footballs that may someday hatch more babies.
The aquarium drip
A man was admitted to the hospital with a fish deficiency and was placed on an IV drip with a fish inside the drip bag. The fish floated around in the bag and entered his veins through the IV. With fish swimming inside his body, the man's health improved.
The aerocar
An aero car, or flying taxi, picked up a man named Nigel Cowpie and flew over Ilford before landing in Pickles Lane and dropping him off at his day center. However, when Nigel went to use his computer, it squirted ink all over him because someone had deliberately poured ink into the hard drive. The man responsible was Percy Nose, a troublemaker who wore glasses. In addition, another man was expelled from the center after being caught urinating in the garden.
The worktatorship
Work became compulsory for all in Britain after a new party seized power. Anyone who refused to work would be imprisoned. To ensure maximum productivity, workers were not allowed breaks and had to eat while continuing to work. Additionally, bedpans were installed in workers' pants so they could relieve themselves without stopping work, creating a terrible odor that was sprayed with air freshener. Daydreaming was also banned and punishable by prison time, as the new authoritarian government sought to strictly control every aspect of citizens' lives.
The laundry railway
The idea of a laundry railway is so washing can be taken by rail straight from the tenant's flat. By doing this the laundry can be taken to the washroom in only one second.
That liberty taking taxi driver
Mr. Samuel Liberties, a taxi driver, overcharged two passengers who shared a cab to the Fishbrook Day Centre. The cab was only booked under one person's name, so the driver refused to allow the other passenger to pay half the fare, instead charging the full amount to the single passenger. This amounted to double the proper fare for two people sharing the cab. The summary warns that if multiple people share a taxi, it's best to book it under both passengers' names to avoid drivers overcharging like Mr. Liberties was known to do.

Tales of a man who was made to hang up shirts on his nose
Simon Peppers was ordered by his master to hang all of his shirts on his nose and keep them there at all times, even when sleeping. He was also forced to use his head as a toilet brush to clean the toilet bowl and hoover the ceiling and sweep the floor. For doing the dishes, Simon had to scrub the plates with a toilet brush using filthy washing up liquid and dry them with hair from his head. His master threatened that if he refused to work, he would suck Simon up with the vacuum cleaner to eat dirt and throw his bed into the skip. Simon's lunch consisted of offal, rotten eggs, and mouldy lettuce.
Strip paste made of chewing gum
Chewing gum can be used as a paste to provide a leak-proof seal around a stoma. After chewing gum, it is applied to the cleaned skin around the stoma before securing the base plate of an ostomy bag. Applying yogurt or peas to the skin can also help the bag adhere better and prevent leaks. Rapid stoma growth beyond normal size should prompt a visit to the doctor.
Story of the schoolteacher who had a blackboard on his chest
Fred Cereal was a 20 foot tall school teacher with a blackboard on his chest teaching 500 children. The classroom had windows filled with dinner plates and desks with wheels and dogs inside that would jump out and knock children over. The headmaster, Mr. Chops, had strict traditions like caning boys every morning and requiring them to comb their teeth and take their trousers off in class. One boy got in trouble for dumping sugar in the toilet and was told to eat cement, then had his head fly off after being birched so hard it stuck to the window before flying back.
St marys station whitechapel
This was a station close to Whitechapel that was closed and abandoned in 1938 soon after Aldgate East Station was moved to it's present site.
It was used as an air raid shelter during the war, but got bombed by enemy planes and had to be demolished.
Only the platform remains and a few interiors close by.
Southend pier
Southend Pier, the longest pier in the world, suffered a devastating fire that damaged large sections of the structure causing chunks to fall into the sea. Key attractions and facilities like the railway station, gift shop, restaurants, and amusement arcade were destroyed. The fire also impacted the railway that transports pier trains as the last section collapsed into the sea. In a separate incident, vandals threw the men's toilet into the sea, leaving males without facilities until a new, reinforced steel toilet sprayed with anti-vandal coating was rebuilt.
Some type of flat
Simon Eels moved into a tiny bedroom that was only six feet wide and six feet long. He had to use the wall as a wardrobe above his bed, risking clothes or shoes falling on him as he slept. His fridge was also very small at only two feet high, forcing him to store food in a briefcase that quickly decayed. Due to the faulty fridge and small living space, Simon struggled to store and prepare food, often going without meals until the fridge was replaced using all his savings.
