Introduction
The energy and environmental crises which the world is experiencing is forcing us, among other
things, to reevaluate the efficient utilization or finding alternative uses for natural, renewable
resources, especially organic clean technologies for cultivation.
The same strategic imperatives, economic growth and developmental issues which drove
Western countries Research since the 1970’s are of even greater and pressing relevance to
developing countries.
Srilankan Situation
The recent identification of the farmers who were affected by Mystery disease Kidney failure in
the areas known as “Rice Basket” in Anuradhapura & Padavia area should open our eyes to
change the cultivation method to organic bio enzyme transfer fertilizer method for growing the
crops.
The soil properties have become infertile & dead due to the excessive usage of chemical
fertilizers & weed eradicator chemical substance. This has caused many people to be diseased
including the major issue on the chronic Kidney disease which has affected more than 70000 to
400000 people in that area.
The soil has deposits of toxins in its body & when the rainy seasons & while watering the
cultivation the chemical toxins drips the chemical toxicity into the ground water streams which
in turn gets delivered at the house & village wells including the lakes which hold water. The
recent phenomenon of lake fish being floating dead is one good reason to understand the
toxicity in the water.
The water sourced for drinking from such wells has caused the mystery disease & thus
continue to affect each & everyone in the affected seven provincial areas.

The Governments initiative of providing dialyses machine to the hospitals may be helpful for
the patients who are suffering but the question to stop the increasing number of patients
arriving to the hospital has to be stopped with immediate action plans.
Solution
After a decade of difficult research we have identified the cause & developed an alternative
solution to eradicate the above issues pertaining to the farmer’s health as well as economic
gain.

without affecting their cash flow every month.
