Editor's Notes
By early church we mean the church of the apostolic period - The New Testament church. It is our conviction that we have the same instructioons delivered to the 1st century church and following that same direction the 1 cnentury should serve as a model or pattern today. The various local churches did not always follw the instructions which they were bigen by the apostles but there was uniformity of apostolic doctrine in the 1st century.
The World Christian Encyclopedia of 2001 counted 33,830
