Triple Layered Narration
 Murder Mystery, is the first narration starts here.
 Sophie’s search for what her Grand father wanted to tell
her, is the second narration,
 Robert Langdon’s revelations, are the part of the third
narration in the novel.
David Lazarus: “The San
Francisco Chronicle”
 “This story has so many twists, all
satisfying most unexpected-that would be sin
to reveal too much of the plot in advance. Let’s
just say that if this novel doesn’t get your
pulse racing you need to check your meds ”.
Art and Sexism
 “Art keeps secrets in its way of hiding and expressing the
things”.
 ART SHOULD DISTURB THE COMFORTABLE AND
COMFORT THE DISTURB.
 “Sexist characters are always suspect” (not as expected
before).
 Cryptic message in itself a kind of mysteries.
 Story and plot follows this thing: ‘From revealer to the
keeper of secrets’.
 Sarcophagus of Mary Magdalene is the Holy Grail, but it
was revealed before the end of the novel.
 Leonardo Da Vinci was secular instead of religious.
 As Sir Liegh Teabing says that, “People can’t find the Holy
Grail but the Holy Grail finds us”.
Some of the codes…
 Anagram.
 Fibonacci Sequence.
 24 Rue Haxo (a street’s name).
 38.11 JOB in church where Silas finds this and he doesn’t gets
anything but distracted.
 A Jewish cryptogram.
 In Rose, in which Robert Langdon and Sophie finds one mirror
image.
 Leonardo Da Vinci’s all paintings has mysteries behind
its artificiality.
 The use of shadows and the use of mirror images makes
his paintings more twisted.
 Art and Religion never goes similar to each other, there
only one thing can take place. Either Art or Religion.
 Da Vinci was not religious.
 Map means some coded language that is now known
with the help of line and signs.
 Red hair is refers to a Royal Bloodline.
 Monalisa’s painting and her style is like hand over hand,
having psychology behind it about the personal life’s
secrets.
 In Disney, Little Mermaid’s red hair is the example of
keepers of secrets. Isaac Newton also has hidden things
and he also having red hair.
 Representations of Triangles has reflection of Aliens,
 UFO (Unidentified Flying Objects), it may refers to
astronomy and it also goes to the idea of hypothesis and
Aliens.
 ET (Extra Territorial) humans/ extra ordinary humans
like Aliens.
