The Cross Of Christ.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. The cross is a symbol for the Christian faith. Why??? Because the cross is at the heart of Christianity. The cross is our central message ! “ For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified” 1 Corinthians 2:2. “ For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” 1 Corinthians 1:18. “ I delivered to you as of first importance . . . that Jesus died for our sins ” 1 Corinthians 15:3. In fact, our English words crucial and crux are derived from the Latin word for cross. The crux of the matter, the crucial point of our Faith, centers upon the Cross.
