The promise of the Holy Spirit is a gift for all who believe. It is the promise of a Person coming to be in us and with us, bringing with Him all His power and ability for our benefit and making us effective in accomplishing what God wants us to do.
We heard a lot of prophecies before. Though a lot of them didn’t actually happen, it doesn’t mean that it can’t really happen. Sometimes, it can be really confusing. Is it real? Is the end of the world coming?

Jesus was the focus of isaiah 11 prophecyGLENN PEASE

This powerpoint accompanies a sermon preached by Pastor Bob Brown at Plymouth Meeting E.C. Church on 12/7/2014. Hear the sermon on the Media Page under Sermons.
Synopsis: We know that Jesus bore our sins. But the false idea of his death being vicarious or a substitution is not what the Bible teaches. Passages used to support this idea are discussed making it clear that sin is not transferable; Jesus was not made sin, nor forsaken by His father; He was without sin and bearing our sins is about removal of sins, not transferring.
This is a study of the emotions of Jesus. He wept at the tomb of Lazarus, and he wept over the city of Jerusalem. The implication of the New Testament is that Jesus wept more than is recorded, for he was touched emotionally my many situations.

THORN IN THE FLESH I God's All-Suffiecient Grace to Deal with Toxic People
Many of us like Apostle Paul has that burning desire to serve the Lord. But along side in our journey, there are things or someone that seem to derail us from the God's eternal purpose for us. Something or someone pricking your conscience as they are placing you in great bondage in order for you not to continue. In this topic we will be delving out how Apostle Paul described his struggle and where he found his strength in overcoming those things. Thorn in the flesh here is not the usual thought you have in mind in which many 'controversialized' it long time ago. Let's us sit together and feast in God's revelatory insights to each one of us!
WHY LORD I Are You Relentlessly Questioning God?DestinyCabuyao
WHY LORD? I Are You Relentlessly Questioning God?
Have you asked God this question? "Why BAD things happened to GOOD people?" This is a common question reverberating across the planet coming from those people who are uncertain and questioning the character of God. But have you come across with this question, "Why GOOD things happened to BAD people?" Those people having the messed up and faulty concept of God see everything around wrongly to the point of blaming God for all the misfortunes that they are experiencing. Sometimes the FINITE creature would ask the INFINITE Creator, " I thought you are all-powerful, all-loving, all-wise, all-good, "Why all of these things happened?" In this topic we will go together exploring to have a glimpse of the INCOMPREHENSIBILITY of God. Some questions we will be answering is that, "How does God see us in the midst of our pains? What is in His mind? Hope to get your revelatory insight about this topic as we welcome you to engage by posting your opinions, ideas, suggestions on the comment section on our provided down below. COUNT THE COST I Commitment or Involvement?
Winning the lost at all cost is the battlecry of those people deeply challenged to follow Jesus after a tear drenched encounter with God. Following Jesus is not based on random initial impulse or impetus. It is a serious thing not based on overstimulated emotion. Much more it is based on a firm steadfast decision. In the same way as we all know, love is not an emotion but a decision. In following Jesus, commitment played a very vital role. The best picture of commitment is a skydiver. He is willing to jump no matter if the parachute would open or not. Many who entered serving the Lord easily gave up simply because they just responded to the hype of the moment. Other reason is that SELF started to kick in because of some pressing needs and their life purpose was shove off to the other side of the fence. This topic that we are about to delve into will give us an insight that saying 'yes' to the Lord is not because you copied somebody's response to the challenges. Serving God is a PERSONAL thing. Serving is between you and God? Pause for a moment and check out. What do you have? Commitment? or Involvement?
QUESTIONS TO PONDER:
1. What do you think would be the repercussion of a person unprepared for bigger challenges?
2. In your personal definition, what is COMMITMENT? Give illustrative example of something or someone that demonstrates commitment.
3. What are those things that you think are threat to your PERSONAL COMMITMENT of SERVING GOD?

Renewed in Grace
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
