Winning the lost at all cost is the battlecry of those people deeply challenged to follow Jesus after a tear drenched encounter with God. Following Jesus is not based on random initial impulse or impetus. It is a serious thing not based on overstimulated emotion. Much more it is based on a firm steadfast decision. In the same way as we all know, love is not an emotion but a decision. In following Jesus, commitment played a very vital role. The best picture of commitment is a skydiver. He is willing to jump no matter if the parachute would open or not. Many who entered serving the Lord easily gave up simply because they just responded to the hype of the moment. Other reason is that SELF started to kick in because of some pressing needs and their life purpose was shove off to the other side of the fence. This topic that we are about to delve into will give us an insight that saying 'yes' to the Lord is not because you copied somebody's response to the challenges. Serving God is a PERSONAL thing.
