Ever experienced the roller-coaster of a product pivot?
Product pivots are a common sight these days. the average startup will experience at least one significant pivot process by the time it has reached series B fundraising.
Product teams within Tech companies, experience pivots without even realizing this is what they're going through.
So what is a Pivot, what does it do to those who have to deal with it and how on earth do we survive it?
If you're a hebrew reader' you'll find most of the answers here.
if Hebrew is not your thing, give it a while longer and I'll upload an english version.

Once Upon a Data - How to Create a Meaningful Story With Big Data (Hebrew)Micky Fridman
ย
When we design complex data based software and websites, we tend to overflow the users with information.
How can we help the user find the information which is most important? Which piece of information will engage the user and create the most value? How should we present it so it will be digestible enough?
This talk is about creating a clear message with your information by transforming it into a story - and about how to build that story.
A story that under which the data is focused, clear, meaningful - and leads to an action which is aligned with the value WE choose to provide.

The document discusses various topics related to team leadership and culture, including the benefits of creating a team charter, implementing a continuous critique process, facilitating collaboration, and cultivating a strong team culture. Some key points covered include defining a team's purpose, commitments, focus areas, and growth opportunities in a charter; assigning critique buddies to provide feedback on work; emphasizing servant leadership and setting people up for success; and remembering that leadership is more about the team than any individual. The overall message is that non-technical skills like these are important for team and life success.
How to achieve innovative, creative and inventive UX solutions: Techniques and Examples. It was presented by Yoram Rosner, founder of 5IVE :: innovation & UX. as part of UXI 2016.

The document discusses first time user experience (FTUE) and onboarding for mobile apps. It notes that 80% of users are lost within the first 72 hours, and that FTUE is crucial for retention, engagement and reducing frustration. The document reviews statistics from A/B testing of over 200 apps, finding that only 12.5% of tests produce meaningful results. It stresses testing different FTUE approaches using data to improve the user experience and focus on personalization to increase app usage and value for new users.
The document discusses the roles of product managers and UX designers at Wix and how they work together. It explains that product managers initially create "Tractor UIs" as a starting point for discussion. The product managers and UX designers then use these to have discussions and make final decisions together based on their areas of responsibility. The UX designers then create live mockups to test with users, and the product managers and UX designers jointly consider this feedback to determine what to change in the product.

It was given during the UXI Live 2011 conerence. The largest UX event in Israel.
This document discusses improving user stories by following best practices like the INVEST acronym. It explains that user stories address common requirements gathering pitfalls by focusing on delivering value to end users, using their language, and enabling prioritization and incremental development. The document provides guidelines for writing "good" user stories, including having context, value, and acceptance criteria, as well as being independent, negotiable, estimable, small in size, and testable. It also identifies potential "user story smells" to avoid.
