The Apprentice is a British reality television show that has aired for 15 years on BBC. The show follows a group of businesspeople competing in tasks assigned by businessman Lord Sugar over the course of 12 weeks. Lord Sugar and his associates judge the candidates' performance in the tasks to determine who will become Lord Sugar's business partner and receive £250,000 to invest in their business. The 2016 season premiere had over 7 million viewers.
