Ellen Scharaga began her practice as a registered

Ellen Scharaga supports health organizations such
as the American Cancer Society.
The American Cancer Society advocates for a
cancer-free society by supporting research to find
cures and prevent cancer. This community-based
organization is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and
operates throughout the country through its regional
offices.

3. American Cancer Society
 Through the dedication of its 2.5 million volunteers,
the American Cancer Society creates specific
programs for cancer patients, such as the Reach to
Recovery Program.
The Reach to Recovery Program provides
assistance to patients with breast cancer. For over
45 years, this program’s volunteers have supported
individuals facing cancer diagnoses and those who
are undergoing or have completed cancer treatment.
The Reach to Recovery Program also serves as a
source of information for the patient’s family
members to educate and prepare them for their
loved one’s battle against breast cancer.
