Macy´s Thanksgiving Day Parade
History 1924- First Macy´s parade Macy´s employees marched down 34´th Street in Manhattan, NY The parade had floats and music
History 2 1927- The parade added live animals and balloons Santa Claus comes at the end of the parade and simbolizes the finale
Macy´s parade continued 1947- 1´st national telecast  1947- Miracle on 34´th Street movie made with real footage of parade 1955- Parade first shown on TV on NBC
The parade today Helium balloons with characters such as: Mickey Mouse, Kermit the Frog, Bugs Bunny, Snoopy, Felix the Cat (1´st balloon ever used)‏ Floats Broadway acts, Marching Bands, Radio City Rockettes, Celebrities
