Bioethics club - Watson in life science- Roberto Sicconi
Dr. Roberto Sicconi will give a presentation on IBM Watson at Ardsley High School on April 18th from 3-4 pm in Room 130. The presentation will cover an overview of the Watson system and its key components. It will also explore how Watson's capabilities are being applied in healthcare to help physicians make diagnoses and treatment decisions by extracting information from electronic health records. Dr. Sicconi is a member of the IBM Watson team and worked on applying Watson's deep semantic analysis and question answering abilities to Jeopardy! as well as developing business applications in healthcare, customer support, and gaming.
